It's not about the characters being similar. . I mean that the leads are good together/the focus is in the right place.

I was watching The West Wing and then thought "there's no new dramas airing on Wed-Thurs?", so I ended up here and decided going to stay. Wasn't expecting to end up with another show about politics but the first three episodes were lots of fun.

-The cast is INSANE, and they didn't waste them (talking to you, 12), thanks drama god. It's always fun to have movie stars back in dramaland.

-Mom in law being like "this is my design. I don't care who finishes it" had me dead. But after what she said to Munju (women are different but the same) it seems like she actually loved her son.

-I like that the leads are "K2 but if they made him bodyguard the right FL". They finally fixed it.

-The characters and social commentary are on point.
I just checked the writer and it all makes sense. I'm excited for the next episodes.

In the present they did act like siblings but those flashbacks are giving single dad vibes instead of big bro vibes. Dude adopted her.

Da Reum is back as the ML younger version. LOL
I love this type of dramas with flashbacks as lovely as the present timeline. And I love the leads in both versions. Their honesty is really nice. And I love that they are somewhat comfortable with each other and have normal conversations. Not the typical lying, and running and hiding from each other for no reason. They act like normal people.

Also, she had an abusive husband that literally chained and tortured her son, and people are shocked she went and killed some rapists and child abusers? I mean, she's something else for enjoying murder, and letting her 10yo son watch her kill people, but that's another conversation.

I need more scenes of her with her son. The cast is on point.

PS. Why are all the comments about the site ratings? The ratings that truly affect dramas are the local viewership ones, unless it's an original show from a streaming platform.

Well, that was fun! I'm so happy we're finally getting crazy main female characters that aren't basic sky castle moms. I loved Hyperknife and Child Shopping was fun too.

I haven't watched last week episodes yet. How are things with cafe owner and sis storyline? Are they still getting screentime? If now the focus is full on Yoon Jae and Min Ju bs, I think I'm out. My best wishes to Ji Eun in her next life tho. I've never felt so bad for a FL in my life, even though most FLs are poor and alone.

And it's not only "another woman" it's the woman his girlfriend doesn't want around him, and it's the woman he keeps telling "I have a girlfriend". If you have a girlfriend. Every time he says that, I'm like "THEN ACT LIKE YOU DO HAVE A GIRLFRIEND".
I legit can't believe we are supposed to be supporting Ji Eun to end up with him... Like, yikes. This show kinda hates its FL.

Yes. That's definitely a problem of the show and Yoon Jae as a character. He says "I have a girlfriend" but his next action is to go to class with her, and help her move our, and let her get in the middle of him and Ji Eun. Even when she dressed like Ji Eun, he was like "pretty" and imagined Ji Eun,when in reality any normal person would be instantly freaked out.

He doesn't treat her like she's stalking her. He doesn't look uncomfortable or scared of her. He doesn't get angry either. So even when everything she does is wrong, it's difficult to take the situation seriously when Yoon Jae himself doesn't.
And that's definitely a problem with the show, because they shouldn't be making Min Ju's character look funny and harmless. In real life she would be freaking scary.

Poor grandma. And that curse is so nasty and unfair. Like, women already live in a patriarchal society, and then these girls even lose their identities because a man didn't love them. Like what's a bigger "fuck women" than that. Hearing grandma's story made my blood boil, tbh.

What a depressing episode. I just want Ji Euni to be happy. 😭 The fact that she can't even go to the hospital is so sad and dangerous. And her convo with her grandma was heartbreaking. She had the worst day ever.
And after all that she even gets slapped. Did uri Ji Eun sell her country in her past life? They don't let her win one single time...

PS. I love Jeong Ja and Ji Hye so much. Those two are stealing the the show.

I get what you mean, but isn't the actor playing Ji Eun? People calling her Ji Hoon in the show only happens when they have to. Her mom, friend, unnie and boyfriend all call her Ji Eun or use the usual pronouns for her when they're alone. I'm not sure if the subtitles have been using Ji Hun/he/him, etc tho, because I don't read them carefully since I understand most of it, but I'm pretty sure no one (who knows the secret) sees her as Ji Hun even because she looks like a guy. Especially herself.

So, I just find it uncomfortable to read the comments calling her that, because her whole situation is about losing her identity and not having how to protect or reveal herself in front of the world, so it's like sad... LOL but I get what you mean about it being more about diferencing the actors than the character. I like how both actors have played Ji Eun so far, they made her such a lovely FL. Only people who don't know her secret call her that. Everyone who knows she isn't a guy calls her her name. It's not like she actually treats her guy form as a different identity. She's one person, one woman and her name is Ji Eun. When people ship her with the other women and call her Ji Hoon is like people are trying to make her a guy. A different person. It is disrespectful.

The mom with café owner scene. 🥺 This triangle is making me bleed, I love Ji Hye but I want café owner unnie to be happy so bad. They both deserve love! we need another guy, ASAP.

I hope we see more of mom supporting Ji Eun, she needs it.

Everything Mi Joo said to that stalker is what Yoon Jae should've said to her. The second the guy started insulting Yoon Jae she was done with him. Meanwhile, Mi Joo says wtv about Ji Eun and the guy can't even get angry on his girlfriend's behalf. Yoon Jae's literally more annoying than Mi Joo at this point. At lest she's funny and helping Ji Eun make good money.

PS. Yu Ri reminds me of me and my bestie when we were in middle school. She's so cute.
PS2. That epilogue... I feel so bad for Ji Eun. ㅠㅠ
