It's because many fans watch BL more for their fetish than because they genuinely like romance and/or inclusion. It's clear that they don't give af about queer people. Mom was talking with a grandpa about the curse. It can't be a stranger because it is a family thing. And it wouldn't be her dad because it is a women of the family thing. So I'm guessing it was her mom, Ji Eun's grandma. So grandma never reversed the curse and that's why she looks like a grandpa.

Yes. And it's very strange they didn't give him anything when (1) him being in love with SA did nothing for the story. He wasn't the typical SL who helps because he loves the FL and that's it. He genuinely cared for her AND GJ because they are his friends. All his moments could've been there even if he didn't like her that way and instead was in love with someone else. (2) they were hinting that A. the othet girl liked him and B. he was good with archery too. So why not give any of that to him???
And yes, the actor really did his best with the little he got. Really charming actor.

This was Lovely Runner (the new romcom standard) all over again. FL sacrificing herself over and over again to save her boyfriend's life. Yeom Hwa is the typical unnecessary serial killer who kills the com in romcom and makes the leads just cry every single episode until it's difficult to take them seriously. And in general plot doesn't really makes sense and drags for no reason but it's carried by the chemistry of the cast.
And Ji Ho was the SL who's too cool to be there and should have his own show/love storyline.

We better get used to most romcoms being like this from now on.

Not gonna lie, I really like that her motivation isn't money and she's straight up delusional and twisted. I like my villains to be fun to watch in a very uncomfortable way. When their whole personality is "money" their scenes become a drag.

Let's see if this becomes one of the few shows with a useful police officer or if he's gonna be dead weight like all the others.
