I think it's the sexual attraction mixed with her not knowing anything about relationships. It's not that she doesn't see Ji Eun as a person, I feel like she simply hasn't interacted with men much. so it's like she's going through puberty late or something.

It's not like it's the first time I've seen someone's who's good looking so no. I think Yu Ri's hasn't had enough interactions with people/men. I have a friend who used to go to a all-girls school so going to college she was like "oh my cat, guys!!!". She got used to it later.

Why do people keep calling Ji Eun "Ji Hoon"? It's so weird to call her that.

He even let her insult his girlfriend's appearance in front of her. Dude's the worst.

And this is why (1) if you have mommy or daddy (or any). issues you should go to therapy instead of dumping your trauma on others, (2) society should stop obsessing over parenthood/motherhood and blood and stop normalizing the abuse that this mentally has caused on kids and women mainly, (3) and people should stop pretending women aren't people and that giving birth automatically makes you a mom/being maternal is natural.

Anyway, I really liked the show.

I didn't know they were airing two different versions.
I knew they were going to cut his scenes because of the DUI but I don't know how they're handling everything now that he passed. I think I watched the first version. But I think it makes sense they cut it out, not because the character was evil but because how he ended in the show. If I were his family or fan, it would've triggered me. Not the best timing to watch that happening to him.

I think it's the contrary. They cut the scenes because of SYK's DUI scandal, not because they regretted what they filmed. I read that all his shows cut/tried to delete his scenes. That's why that storyline ended up like that.

I don't think the show is about genius kids taking the "bad guys". They're just kids, so of course they can't do everything alone. Being abandoned doesn't give them superpowers. Ahjussi trained them to protect themselves for a few years (except for Ah Hyun that he raised since childhood), but that's it. I'm actually surprised only one of them died so far. That said, they're not incompetent. No one was in their right mind after their bro died, because their bro literally died. They would've stayed there and burn to death because they had experienced something traumatic two seconds ago. So yeah, it's good that ahjussi helped them.

I cried the whole episode. I'm gonna miss this drama so much. I loved every single of it. I'll miss you Sochodong. Every time they show that neighborhood on another show I'm gonna think of this lovely drama.

PS. I was sooooooo happy for CEO Hyun Min. I wish her the best. They should invite her for a meal when she passes the test.

Ohh. That's awesome. Totally random, but if one day you want to read real opinions on the show, I recommend Tumblrr. Very detailed oriented and thoughtful comments on the different relationships and character developments.

I think it's especially a struggle with stories focused on the characters instead of plot, especially if they're slice of life. I've seen people struggling with the concept of not everything being the same with other shows as well (aka. don't go to The bear subreddi). Maybe all those superhero movies have made some damage... The fact that people can't grasp that everything wasn't made for them and that some stories have an actual identity and aren't fanservice is wild. I miss the times when people said "I don't like that" instead of "that's wrong".

Tbh I'm amazed people who don't get the show made it till the final week and are expecting something totally random from it.

Why is everyone surprised there isn't anything big/explicit happening in this final week? This is how the drama has been since day 1, lmao. This is probably the most consistent show of the year. It's okay if you don't like it, but that doesn't make it bad. Just go and Google what "slice of life" is. Not all shows need to be the same, people. Like, that's why different genres exist.
