Firstly, the only positive things I found about this drama was that the leads were both very pretty and I liked their dynamic at the start, even though it was nothing new I still found them cute, and this was the part where I found their chemistry to be the best as well. (The first portion.) Now onto the negative stuff.
ML had zero character development or backbone. they didn’t even give FL any standout characteristics.
it honestly just felt like they were trying to check a bunch of ‘boxes’ for required tropes in Xianxia.
Also they wasted so much time on the ending with what was basically just a OST mv. LAZY! 😅

no worries! i figured it might be something like that :) honestly that’s probably what this show should do too with the new actor they brought on. but i don’t think they can due to the plot

yeah, happened with another turkish drama called “Emanet” i’m not actually sure if they replaced the FL fully or just created a new character since she left. i think they also tried to press charges against her for leaving before they finished filming the season finale (against the original female lead i mean)
three times is wild though. did they ever try to explain why her face kept changing or just ignored it? 😅
i haven’t tuned in to this show in weeks but it’s wild that the ML is getting replaced! never seen that happen in a daily or weekend drama (but i haven’t been watching these specific kinds for very long)
it can’t be easy to play the kind of character he was playing. still, i wonder how the show will treat this. i’m glad the production team made the right decision and let him go and didn’t try to force him to stay or anything.
wth, chung ha seriously made me so mad in episode 16, telling fl to quit her job because he “doesn’t want her touching other men’s face.” like if you truly love someone you would never want them to become financially dependent on you against their own wishes unless you’re toxic AF.
glad fl threw it right back at him by telling him he shouldn’t be an actor then and he’s always hugging other women. exactly! what a hypocrite.
i hate to be that person but i’m actually surprised so many people didn’t expect this plot twist!
i started seeing it when sol hee heard deuk chan was lying while congratulating their relationship, then when he found out his wife was cheating and did nothing and acted as if he was not that hurt by it. that’s when i started to suspect the direction they were going in.
not sure if it’s because i’m simultaneously watching “my dearest,” (another show with a male character that has a crush on ML and did some crazy shit bc of it) or what but, i don’t find it that shocking or twisty. (personally.)

that seems like the case! that’s why i was so shocked that the photo shoot of the leads had already happened 2 years ago, usually those types of photo shoots come out when the drama is close to airing ;__;
