i've never had sls and i usually end up skipping their scenes, like if i felt that the main character had more chemistry with the second lead i probably wouldn't watch? i think it comes down to preference.

i remember i wanted to watch this so badly in 2018 before i could find it anywhere online in good quality, and i watched it this year, and it was definitely worth the wait. it was such a good drama i’m still thinking about it. i don’t have the same first impression of Hwang Jung-eum that everyone else has, which is why the hate on her confused me, because her performance here was amazing, in my opinion. Her crying scenes made me sympathize with her character despite a lot of frustrations i had. So this will always be my impression of her acting. I seriously suggest this drama if you like revenge plots, and also going through many different emotions while watching. Lol

chemistry looks nice but the the whole concept of “darkening” skin to look more “ugly” is insanely colourist + it is such an outdated and offensive concept
