people also compare it with an actor playing a British character but has an American accent while speaking so doesn't sound right. they want it to be "accurate" but every kingdom in the past didn't speak with the northern Beijing dialect either but maybe because a lot of these kingdoms used are fictional maybe that's why the Beijing dialect has been taken as the standard. i myself would love to see some variety with the dialects.
it's really addicting and the chemistry between the leads is really good. a good enemies to lovers, it actually takes them time to trust each other and misunderstandings get resolved very quickly.

there's no exact moment at first, they slowly fall in love and make confessions that don't directly state "I love you" at first but means exactly that. around after ep 10 their interactions become much softer and around ep 20/21 they act more domestic. i think it was around ep 25/26 when wei shao asked manman if she wanted to be his "real wife" and she replies with "after all that we've been through am i not your real wife (already)". marriage consummation happens after ep29. episode no. be a little off i don't exactly. remember which ep but around that time.
honestly, his brother's dying words to him was to not trust anyone and she's from the very family that caused his clan's misery, it isn't that unreasonable. trust needs to be built and in upcoming episodes you'll see that trust build.
