oh they really made me feel so many emotions with these 20 episodes. SOL dramas aren't usually my thing but this one felt at home. no tropes were overdone and no random trauma truck either but just felt like watching a huuugeeee family get through their daily lives and problems and felt at ease watching them.
those last few minutes where DS recalls her youth and ssangmun-dong almost brought me to tears. (the ship i rooted for said too haha) (also that goat is goated - corny ik lol)
just finished ep 1 and could relate to soo many emotions and so many of their frustrations especially deoksun's. the break down she has on her sister's birthday, I felt that in my soul. honestly her sister is the most annoying and frustrating character to watch (for me) she's too rude, not to mention her hitting DS every chance she gets. I've seen siblings hit each other when they fight but imo she goes a bit overboard.
just got done with ep 2 and it's been good so far. and I kinda like the pacing, the way I get to see what kind of emotions they're feeling despite them not even saying a word during some scenes.
i like how jiuk and haeyoung aren't being too childish about having feelings for each other instead happily acknowledge it in front of each other. that scene where they went shopping and later arranged his room was so heart warming, i really didnt expect them to have this good chemistry.
also i just knew jiuk searched up an online article on "how to impress my wife" when i saw him trying all that; turns out i was close cuz it was a youtube video instead lol
i didn't actually expect this drama to turn out this well when i started watching this 4 weeks ago but this drama has made me look forward to Mondays. hope they dont waste too much time on family drama cuz I've really liked the way its been going so far
imho seungho was a very sh*tty friend to her. you see your best friend from your childhood till your teens very visibly sick and you dont check up on her beacuse of a man? not just that u dont even pick up her calls or reply to her messages? and then have the guts to ask her why she didn't tell you? what seokryu's ex did was wrong & his rant came out in the worst possible way. but looking back the way seungho yelled & got mad at seokryu cuz he realised he liked her was way more toxic im sorry he had no right to last out at her like that when she even brought food for him that she made. to me thats worse than her ex's lash out.
today's episode was so calming idk after it ended i just felt so peaceful. the scene where she cried at the airport when he was walking away i knew I'd cry if i was in her place too. they had a good relationship and now she sees that it's really over, she spent so many years with him and now he's really walking away and she knows she wont see him or talk to that person who she spent so many good moments with but im glad they got their closure and now both can move forward.
honestly the back story with her ex didnt bother me at all, it just gave a nice insight as to why she really didnt want to blame him for the break up.
what he said was really hurtful but imho, it was his emotions pent up because he really could do much with seokryu like travel or hang out with friends, etc but seokryu didnt deserve to be blamed for that at all cuz she didn't chose to be sick either. and i dont think her ex was evil or smtn for that he definitely made a horrible mistake.
i was glad it wasnt yet another cheating, toxic ex & i'd really considered it lazy writing if it was the case cuz couples break up for a lot of different reasons it doesnt always have to be unfaithfulness.
the ending of Ep9 really made me tear up. i could feel seokryu's emotions when her mom gave her that tight hug. she really needed that esp from her mom who's been really harsh on her. i hope her mom gives her a break after this cuz shes been babying her brother his whole life for his childhood sickness.
hope they keep things as light as it is rn till the end and don't start some ott family drama abt inheritance of company though i see it already heading there.
i didn't expect it but shin min-a and Kim young-dae have such good chemistry i keep waiting for scenes of them together. also haeyoung looked so cute eating gimbap in the car.
I'm starting to like the 2nd couple (nam ja yeon & bok gyu hyun) hoping to see more of them!!
Kim Young Dae's long hair was obviously extensions, you could tell in a lot of shots so I was zero percent surprised…
right it was very obvious. esp when he was trying out the wedding outfits I could see the different colour of the extensions because of the extra light on his hair. but he really pulled it off well.
was kinda bored through ep4 cuz there was so little time with the main leads together. honestly kinda gonna miss jiuk's longer hair. i lowkey still ship fl's sister with the secretary lol.
hope their colleagues era is just as entertaining as the shopkeeper-customer one.
lol I was gonna ship nam ja-yeon (fl's sister) with yeo ha jun (secretary) but then remembered the spin off drama pairing her with the CEO guy idk why they spoiled that so early haha.
watching shin min-a on the screen is wonderful. her acting comes out so naturally like she was born to do this. i really liked this episode. that proposal was cute haha
we know nothing abt the ML rn and it's just been 1 episode relax. i really feel bad for any adult that meets u…
it's you judging the ml too quick. look at love next door, seunghyo was not the "virgin ml" like u tagged him, his ex literally showed up and seokryu caught them making out. you were hating for no reason yes I don't know u but I do know how u look at virgin adults thanks to ur multiple comments.
