I had soo much fun watching the first 2 episodes and when i came here people are hating on it? if it's about the fl and her "family' I think people should give it time before hating. for me it made the whole show even more interesting, a different story, didn't feel like I was watching the same fl in the 20th drama.

wait wasn't it Yeong Sook who called to warn at the end?

it all began after she ignored Yeong Sook's calls. firstly Seo Yeon knew very well how abusive Yeong Sook's mother was, she should've been there to listen to her every time, esp after she just saved her father's life. seo yeon was purely selfish there.
then she reads articles about strawberry guy and the stepmother being killed by Yeong Sook and still aks her if she was the one who killed them and tells her she's be caught and imprisoned for life... why would you tell that to a serial killer who's mentally unstable?!???
then proceeds to ignore her calls knowing full well that Yeong Sook can manipulate her present by hurting people in her past WOW. and then asks "what did you do to my dad" she killed him obviously cuz you were busy being dumb!??
she had a major upperhand knowing exactly how YeongSook would get caught,,, she could've just not told YeongSook the details about any one of the prime evidences and YeongSook would get caught!!

what surprises me more is how YeongSook didn't get caught after killing seoyeon's mother seeing how reckless she was.

can't believe someone with full access to the internet and knowledge of the future, which alone gives her a massive upperhand, gets outsmarted by someone who has neither. the police also was very useless like that was the easiest connect the dots game.

what i grasped by myself and by reading some of the comments is that

when in 1999 SeoYeon (SY) 's mother and YeongSook (YS) fell, both survived the fall.
1999 SY called the police and they both were hospitalized and after recovery YS was jailed. hence SY and her mother both being there. but then 2019 YS escapes prison (?) and somehow calls 1999 YS warning her about the mother and police officer and then accordingly she acted to save herself hence SY's mother disappears from the 2019 tl and since YS probably killed SY's mother in 1999, 1999 SY never escapes and is trapped in the basement for 20 years and hence after 2019' SY's mother disappears she ends up directly in the basement.
also could be that SY and her mother escaped somehow in '99 and before the police arrived YS escaped too and hence warned her past self 20 years later.
tho it doesn't make sense to me how 2019 YS calls and tells "you could get killed" to warn '99 YS cuz if she did die how's she present in the '19 tl and if she didn't, why does she say it like that? and if she didn't die why'd she disappear while attacking '19 SY?

i knew that ending was coming for sunghoon's character but still was like 😧 when it happened😭

a large % of asians do take relationships srsly and like to stick to one person cuz our culture taught us that.
there are also many Asians who don't mind casual relationships and BOTH ARE VALID. i only mentioned the first part in my comment cuz I was talking abt ml. next time I'll add full context in caps so user mooc doesn't misunderstand I'm sorry.
ml isn't a simp for staying single and fl isn't h0rny or a wh0re for getting into another relationship. two things can be right at the same time you know? me calling ml valid doesn't make fl invalid

both fl and ml can be right. it's not wrong to move on and it's also not wrong to not move on or not date. none of the leads are wrong but people calling someone a loser for not getting into other relationships are.

no. she chose to date and that's okay. did I say people who move on are wrong? but there were people in the comments who were saying it's unrealistic for a man in his late 30s to not have sexual desires and not get into other relationships, so the ml felt unrealistic to them; i was telling them that it's not abnormal for someone to not sleep with a person he doesn't have feelings for. fl did date and that's okay and it's also okay for ml to not date.
I never said fl was wrong for getting into other relationships but I just said ml isn't wrong or invalid either.
I'd say “working mothers are so strong” and you'd reply with “do you mean stay at home mothers aren't strong???” one thing being right doesn't mean it's alternative is wrong.

I loved the way the reunited lol that door scene and the rest of it was so funny!! looking forward to more of these cute and heartwarming moments.

why're people complaining abt the best friends to exes to lovers again trope?? from the beginning they have said this drama is gonna have this trope so if you don't like it why did you even watch it?
also abt ml being a “simp” cuz he didn't date anyone other than fl? well it's sad to see ml isnt as h0rny as y'all (I'm talking abt the comments cuz y'all want him to date so bad,, not fl as some people are taking it as). “sexual desires” bla bla bla trust me asians don't take sexual relationships as lightly as the western world. an Asian man not going around sleeping with women he doesn't have feelings for is not abnormal (yes even for a 38yr old). maybe other kdramas have made you think otherwise but no it's not abnormal for Asians.
people having problems with fl possibly having a love triangle and also with the ml staying single for years... a problem with everything atp.

look i understood all that, but it could've been written better according to me. i only keep watching it cuz the mains have great chemistry and i love them both but for the writing i found it very disappointing. i respect your opinion on liking the drama so i hope you can respect mine too. and it's not to hate on the drama but my geniune disappointment.

the dialogues are so corny sometimes i don't even understand why they're doing some stuff like why did she think she had to love him to survive?
anyways if it wasn't for SIG & PBY i wouldn't watch past ep2. LSH's acting was underwhelming tbh.

I have no problems w cussing in shows at all, esp if it fits in naturally. it just irked me that people gave up on such a good show for just some cigs & swearing *sigh*
