Wow. There's a lot of generalizations and assumptions here. Did you conduct a consensus on the percentage of number…
Well, it is certainly better research than your assuming that 75% of idols are gay. To what ends did you determine this? Did you poll everybody in the K-entertainment industry? Or even a sample?
In parallel theory, you are saying that 75% also of Hollywood are gay? How about the number of people who straight?

It's not that I fear a higher percentage of LGBTQ people, heck, I'm all for it, if that was truly the case, there wouldn't be so much push back and hate going on. Just because I'm queer doesn't mean I will push down the LGBTQ agenda down people's throats just to suit my narrative. I accept that there are long strides to go to make identifying whether straight or gay be as easy as or non-issue as choosing whether I like peanut butter or jam on my toast. That being what gender we identify with shouldn't matter and should not be defining us as people.

You didn't even watched this show, and yet, you judged. Wait and see how it will turn out. You can't know if it's…
I watched the trailer and that's enough for me.

Yes, the role of Kamol is miscasted for sure. The trailer alone proves it, I can't even take it seriously. I found…
But this is a Thailand production so The ex in Be Loved won't work. I was picturing Zee instead as Kamol. Now if I can photoshop Yoon in the drama by watching it with one eye closed......
On Unforgotten Night May 12, 2022
Wrong pairing for this supposedly sexy drama. If Maxtul or MewGulf aren't available, I would prefer these pairs to be Kamol/Kim:

Ohm/Fluke
Ohm/Nanon
Kao/Up
Oat/James
Zee/Saint

I didn't like Yoon in My Ride and skipped all his scenes, and I added this title before watching My Ride, so I'm most likely going to sit this one out.

So babyface Yoon in the mafia AND a dom? I'm not sure. Let's be honest here...if there is no tongue or some sort…
Yes, the role of Kamol is miscasted for sure. The trailer alone proves it, I can't even take it seriously. I found myself inappropriately laughing at the bdsm scenes and that's not a good sign. It's like asking Tom Holland to play a sex god. Just doesn't work.

Title The Tuxedo
The "accidentally tripping over kiss" trope hasn't been more utilized in a drama such as this that I'm surprised it only had 2 or 3. It makes me want to go out on the streets and "accidentally trip over" and see if puckering my lips would be the first reaction I do as I'm falling down.

Could have happened. Could also be a great play for publicity and sympathy, also while promoting this show! Excellent…
Well, for one thing I'm glad, that company shut down. Secondly, just because there wasn't concrete evidence like a video of my sexual assault nor bruises to show for, doesn't mean it didn't happen, pretty much like how it is difficult to prove Emotional abuse, for example, gaslighting, doesn't mean it didn't occur. Even if there is proof, all the other party needs is a good lawyer and people can get away with it. Just ask OJ.

Anyway, believe what you will, not everything is as simple as you say it is, besides I don't need to delve into this further nor ask for any proof from any celebrity as they don't owe me any single thing, neither do I have to explain myself to someone who I won't ever meet.

Well, clearly you an expert on things, especially on the sexuality of other people. I will be surprised if you said you don't know 75% of these people and don't occasionally meet them for lunch just to update you on their lives. But good day!

What makes you so sure that it was made up? And have you been a victim of assault? I have and it's not funny business when the people who assaulted me ganged up together and told others that I was "asking for it" and "enjoyed what was happening to me" and the HR dept. Told me that even it did happen, that they would side with the 6 people who are apparently more valuable to the company as employees than the one person (me) who was more dispensable. And they will just chuck the situation as a "he said, she said" scenario and call it as that. Trust me when nobody wants to believe you when you're speaking the truth, you will feel differently about the situation.

Wow. There's a lot of generalizations and assumptions here. Did you conduct a consensus on the percentage of number of gay people in K-pop? Not even the statistics in progressive countries like US and Canada puts the LGBTQ population past 10%. US at 7.1% (2022 Gallup Poll) Canada at 4% (2021 Stats Can). Granted you mentioned the Arts where the likelihood of LGBTQ individuals maybe higher, but even then, it couldn't be more than double. And it's even presumptuous to say so, it's like saying guys who do ballet, theater or ice skating are most likely gay because they're not straight if they do. Unfounded hypothesis are harmful and do nothing to advance whatever that you are trying to achieve.

Please don't paint everyone in the same brush. It's mentality like this that makes it difficult for people to speak out against injustice. What if someone was raped? Would you dismiss the victim's claims as casually you did here? Victim blaming is one of the biggest reasons some people are afraid of reporting assaults. Why should the onus be on the victim to prove their injuries rather than the perpetrator to prove their innocence? Just because 1 or 2 people lied about being attacked doesn't mean most of the people will. Hate crimes against LGBTQIA+ people are very real. Please don't dismiss it as fiction.

On Angel's Last Mission: Love Apr 21, 2022
In the beginning, I wasn't really sold on the premise for this drama, mainly because of how they wrote FL as a bitter, selfish woman who uses her moneyed status to intimidate people. But the ML breathe life into her sad and forlorn existence was worth watching the show. Shin Hye Sun's acting chops are versatile, having watched her a few other dramas, and she is great as the prima ballerina Lee Yeon Seo who was blinded by an accident and with it, robbed her of whatever humanity she had left in her body.

Enter Kim Myung Soo as Kim Dan, an angel with an equally angelic face, whose mission was to find a cynical, spoiled brat the true love that she apparently deserves. Surprisingly, Lee Yeon Seo gives in to their push and pull, and it seems like Kim Dan has tamed the shrew, but not without a few sacrifices of his own.

The rest of the cast delivered, from Ji Kang Woo as the long-suffering Lee Dong Gun who lost his wife who is Yeon Seo's doppelganger to Kim Bo Mi, who plays as the over-looked second-rate ballerina who deserves the spotlight as much as Yeon Seo, but was held back by family politics. The suspenseful dramatics were held by Yeon Seo's family whose eagerness to claim Fantasia's throne and misplaced affection, led some of them to heinous dealings.

Though I bawled my eyes out half of the time, the drama exceeded my expectations in that in dealt with the different types of love and sacrifices that people make for love.

Title Love Is Sweet Spoiler
I had high expectations for this drama because my fave Leo Luo is in it, but sadly it didn't live up to them, though no fault of his. Leo Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu have sizzling chemistry as Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai, childhood friends turned rivals due to a misunderstanding.

The boardroom drama at the first half of the show was amazing, especially when the FML tries to battle investment experts as a fresh-faced rookie. Even after a few setbacks, Jiang Jun's determination finally won her a permanent seat in the investment company she works in, with her friend-turned-rival as her boss. Meanwhile, Yuan Shuai attempts to worm his way back into her life after harboring a decade-long crush and Jiang Jun mistakes those gestures as an attempt to throw her off her game. She gets the unlikely help from Du Lei, an industry expert from a rival company, who may or may not harbor more ulterior motives.

The main story-line is what made me finish this drama, while the secondary couple was forcibly thrown together and their chemistry is non-existent. Xu Li was ingratiating that I had to skip a lot of her scenes together with Xiao Chuan. As for the rest of the supporting characters, I feel that they were handled poorly. For example, Qiao Na could be an evil bitch but she wasn't. Shen Xin and Linda I believe were forgiven too quickly for my liking, despite having inflicted harm on other people. Same goes with Du Lei, his narrative weaved from bad to good to bad to good as if the writers didn't not know what to do with him. Even Tai Mo, who was supposed to be this big villain, was underutilized, and his defeat came too easily. The 36 episode length did not accommodate the possibilities, and instead, the last 6 episodes were unnecessary.

Title 5 to 9 From Five to Nine Spoiler
The premise of a monk falling hopelessly in love with a city girl with big dreams was quite interesting. Yamapi and Ishihara sizzle on screen. A lot of adorable characters as well but I was rooting for another guy whose game is weak. What I didn't like though is that the show romanticized the stalker-type behavior of the male lead, who even went so far as to lock the girl up, in an attempt to force her into accepting him as her lover. Although it worked out for them in the end, the means didn't justify the outcome.
