The special episodes show only cut scenes in the middle and is not a reconciliation. The series ends when they broke up as LZ just wants to be friends.
That's really harsh. I mean, 20% rate with 1? The series makes a lot of mistakes, that's true, but it's not that…
Likewise the 25% rating 10 must be sniffing MaxTul's armpit hair. Sad to say that even as a big fan of TWM and the boys, I am not delusional to see the second season as a slice of heaven.
“Pardon me, but do you mind if we assassinate your character just a little bit?”— The Agony Booth, Star…
@bakaao, you hit the nail on the head. Despite TWM being one of my all time favorites, this season is just being bastardized. I have stopped at episode 2 not even wanting to go further to sully the memory that is TWM. I for one were not one of the fans to ask for second seasons. I always let sleeping dogs lie. Sequels never really had a track record for being better or being as equally good as the first except for maybe some popular (but mostly Western) shows. Sotus S didn't live up to the first season but it wasn't horrible either. So I'm really wary of watching sequels of anything unless somebody proves it to me otherwise. It's like the upcoming My Bromance 2. Why "resurrect" a guy who's thought to be dead? Sounds flaky to me. If it's just money to be made because of the Popularity of the first season, then it is the wrong motivation to produce a sequel. If there is unfinished business or a story to be told, then maybe a second season is warranted but not when TWM ended neat and tidy. It should have been left alone.
I don't usually watch a series that is airing and will wait until reviews and ratings to watch a show. And I must say I should have stuck to my usually strategy. I wanted to drop it after the first 3 episodes but maybe I was getting impatient so I gave it more chances and watched it to ep5 but Runway stringing Tanaka along is just not right. As Guide already told him that being given hope is far worse than being rejected. Let Tanaka move on and don't use him as a convenient ride to your house. I could not connect to any of the characters or couples as I did with some other BL series. I guess the dream like State of the series is just not working for me. But at least it is not like the disaster that is the sequel to one of my fave BL shows, TWM.
I have yet to see a drama sequel that is as good or better than the first season....for example, Sotus S wasn't as good as Sotus....I think somethimes it's because we have high expectations after viewing the first season that you think that they will try to do an equally good drama or a better production.....granted that it is only a few episodes in as of this writing, there is still a chance that the show will redeem itself. So far though, the rinse repeat cycle of "Bad Romance" is not working. And the comedic cues where they expect people to laugh is like an " Applause" sign in the studio: clapping when you are told and not when you want to.
I am not too sure if it is Yihwa and Cho's trying-too-hard relationship that is detracting from the show. Heck, Korn x Knock's kissing scenes are way better than theirs. I like Yihwa's character better in TWM as a supporive best friend to Korn. Not so much in "Bad Romance." Also, they do not need to rehash old problems and can focus instead on introducing new characters and/or new angles. The first TWM spoiled me as the scenes were hot and the plot was heavy...but so far TWM2 is lukewarm. Hope they turn on the heat within the next few episodes as MaxTul's on-screen chemistry shouldn't be put to waste.
I’d rather die than watch something so messy lol. I’m good. Being part of the LGBT+ community brings some…
I think the problem with the step-brother story is that it started as an off-hand comment without any proper introduction - it was when Type was telling Tum about being in love with his own brother and something about his boyfriend....a few times I had to consult the chart to see who Type was talking about.....so it came out of left-field and did not prepare anybody with a backstory like they afforded the main couple, or even Tin-can though we will eventually find out later....but at least everybody had a proper introduction..........Not against step-bro relationships, as we can see that a lot of BL use this also a a popular trope...it is just they try to pack a lot of relationships in one series almost at the same time.....seeing there could be a potential 12 pairings...they can limit maybe like to 3 pairings per season or just concentrate on a few and leave the rest for later. Hopefully as the series progresses, they will give a little bit more weight to other characters who so far see very little screen time.
I don't think it's different, 2 moons was very cute except the ending, not something special but yet it was sweet,…
I agree with you...LBC reminds me of 2 moons because of all the multiple pairings...but in my opinion, 2 moons have better looking casts but their acting skills are lacking compared to LBC except for a few exceptions. I only finished 2 moons because it was in a lot of top 10 BL lists.. But not my cup of tea. Hopefully LBC won't suffer the same fate as Ae/Perth grew on me. He's one of the better actors in a BL series.

That's the thing I am aiming for the forced pairings. ....just for the sake of having a partner despite no chemistry between the couple...as long the story substantiates the relationship, I'm fine with it....so far the only couple who has real chemistry is Ae and Pete..maybe they have to develop the other characters better before I can be convinced of their pairings But still cannot stand Can and Pond. Not sure if it's the actors or how their characters are portrayed
My opinion may be unpopular but I honestly do not want to see all the couple paired up and lovey -dovey as we know life is not neatly tied with a bow. I want to see a mix bag of relationships: love trains, love boxes, love triangles, couples, and singles.
Love Box: Can -->Tin -->Pete <--> Ae. Where Can and Tin are not a couple, and Pete and Ae are a couple. Tin liking Pete immensely that we can get the Second Lead Syndrome. Can annoys the heck out of me so I want him to at home and be single and suck on his thumb.
Love Triange : Technic --> KengKla --> Techno. Too early at this point to tell who I am shipping.
Love Train : Tum --> Tar --> Tharn --> Type. A choo-choo that goes nowhere. Tum so hung up on Tar who is so hung up on Tharn. Cannot be good. Tar looks like he is only 12.
shows a possibility of 12 boyxboy couples. Can't deal. Did they go to an all - BL school with a 50% gay population who happens to know or are related to each other because it looks like 6 degrees of separation.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU LOVE THE SERIE AND WANT A SECOND SEASON WATCH AND SUPPORT ONLY OFFICIAL LINKS THAT…
Line TV is blocked in my country and unless I get the direct link...won't be able to watch. So it's good that you are posting embedded links as they are available.
i kinda had a feeling that the series would not end with the reunion just because of the darker theme that it was going with....and honestly even though i prefer happy endings in BL...i thought that the reunion is a cop out.. like an afterthought..so for me it was better left as the movie did........much like BL movies where the couple unite every 5 yrs or so (call me by your name, - the book version) or meet once a year (brokeback) ....i think if one party really loved the other person....they would not make them wait / suffer....if they can't be together why not just let them go so they can move on.....in this movie, much like in the manga, i feel that there is more feeling on the side of Kusumi.....as Sensei, even in the two and half years they were apart in the manga, didn't even bother to give Kusumi a call .....in the movie, Kido-kun even chastised Sensei for not sending Kusumi the book that he's been waiting for and Kusumi only found out about it when he went into the bookstore......I know Sensei is depressed and all ..but it's kinda cruel to give somebody who's been longing for you the hope that one day you can still be together....jmho
I dont think there will be 10 episodes as it is written on the description...unless they extend the story. As it stands, the manga has only 7 chapters and Ep. 3 of the drama aligns almost with chapter 3 of the manga. They could end us fast at 5 episodes. Hopefully they make the ending of the drama a bit better.
