This drama is quite fun to watch. I think this kind of character suits Lee Shi Young, as well as the strong and serious one. In this drama she reminds me of her character in "Wild romance" (which was silly but enjoyable). Don't let the subs stop you from watching, the mistakes are mostly with he<=>she<=>it, but if you know about it beforehand it's easy to understand in the context. (I once tried watching a drama that was really auto-translated and that was horrible, after reading the comments here I thought this drama would also have that kind of subs, but thanks God here sentences actually make sense). The male lead is abusive, so if you hate this kind of character probably you won't like it. At the same time we know that it's because of the trauma he had and he is slowly changing for the better. I wouldn't say that he's much worse than an average "arrogant chaebol" type.
*having watched 6 episodes* It's really hard for me to get into this drama, because I honestly think that BY and Dr. Ye are incompatible. And it is not the case of "opposites attract" (maybe in 8 years). She is just so immature. Like a teenager. She fell in love with him because he stood up for her three times (all of which were just rationally adequate)? It's obvious that in real life what usually happens next is that when one gets disillusioned after "falling in love" like this, they usually find another person to worship. One doesn't have to be unkind bully to be immature. *there are people who are more mature at 12 than some people at 20, so I am in no way want to say that all teenagers are immature, it just reminds me of myself when I was that age I guess* Other then that, poems are beautiful, characters are funny and each has their own story to tell.
It is on youtube with subs on official MBCClassic channel, just search for All About My Family, EP01, #01 Each episode is divided into small parts though (~5 parts per ep).
I've just finished the 9th episode, and I just don't know… I guess I had too high expectations after reading all the reviews and comments. I can't relate to the leads and everything seems too ridiculous and overly dramatic. Just don't have high expectations, than you may enjoy it… On hold for me for now.
For a moment I was afraid that this drama will have one of that awful extremely depressing endings for which I sometimes hate j-dramas (although I must admit it would fit this one). I am so glad that it is not so.
1. Can please someone spoil me the ending? happy/sad/open? 2. Seeing “100-manen no Onna-tachi” in the recommended section makes me hesitate to watch — that one drama was a traumatic experience for me lol.
I finally watched the last episode. I can't really complain because it is not like you can expect fabulous…
Thanks a lot for the reply! It's just that I couldn't get into any of the dramas that ended recently (dropped a lot) and waiting for airing dramas is a torture for me, so I'm on the lookout for anything that may get me interested…
This show went from 50 to 68 episodes! WTF is going on?? LOL 50 episodes of Mrs Lee was sufficient and now we…
It's easy to get confused. This drama was supposed to be 50 eps with each episode being 1 hour long. So, 50 hours. But since the 41-st episode they divided each episode in two and counted them accordingly. From 41 to 50 – 10 episodes – were divided in two and became 20 episodes, so the drama was now supposed to have 60 episodes BUT THEY WERE STILL THE SAME 50 EPISODES (50 hours). Then they extended the drama by 8 (half an hour) episodes which are actually 4 standard (an hour long) episodes. From the beginning it was supposed to end on September 30, now it ends on October 14.
The conclusion is that they extended it only by 4 episodes (2 weeks, 8 half-an-hour episodes) :)
Wow Ms Lee is so scary… I am on episode 20 and with each episode she gives me more and more chills. I hope that in the end absolutely everything she's done will be discovered. I want to skip to that part already, she makes me sick.

Do you mean Japanese drama „My Little Lover” or there is another one?..
It is on my PTW list, thanks!

Is the ending satisfying?
