I'd like to recommend this movie to those who enjoy this drama http://mydramalist.com/12216-the-accidental-detective It is in the same genre, hilarious and the funniest part is that our detective Ha is the queen of mystery there :))
Haha I bet almost everyone thought that inspector Woo is a bad (or at least suspicious) guy after the 11th episode, and the revelation in the 12th was unexpected. I love this drama for these small unexpected twists and turns.
I realized that “stretching” of the cases is the price for all the fun scenes we have in one episode, so it doesn't bother me much now, but how I wish this drama was longer that 16 eps… I will definitely miss doshirak-shop-owner-friend's laugh (when she doesn't change her face expression at all).
Sadly the 10th episode felt like a filler (for a 16-eps drama at least). Nothing much happened and although everything was meaningful I think it could be shown in a half episode's time т_т
Do you guys think there will be any romance? It is in the genre description but I'm starting to doubt that anything like that will happen. Honestly it is hard to imagine them as a couple, she would definitely be the boss, lol. Still I like some romance in my dramas…… At the same time we have a lot of scenes with her in-laws, maybe it is a sign that divorce will not happen. But at the same time when one of the leads says "love is just hormones and you can control it" we know what usually happens later on, hehe. Oh.
It is okay for me if her relationship with her husband and not the detective will get better and more "romantic", but he would have to change his character and values first. Their views on justice are fundamentally different and I am afraid when she finds out what kind of person he is at work she will become very miserable in this marriage.
Hmm for me this show has been consistently good and enjoyable so far, I don't think it has changed much since the 5th episode. I guess if you hadn't liked it before your opinion will not change. It still has scenes with the mother-in-law and the 7th and 8th eps are about one case.
I think this drama is more of a comedy+mystery genre than a serious detective/thriller. Ahdjumma is the one who is competent in solving cases there and this creates all the fun. The main guy – real detective – mostly provides information and uses his fighting skills.
Could someone spoil me the ending please?.. Is it happy, sad or open (many people commented about wishing season 2)?.. Not that I won't watch it if it is sad, just want to be prepared.
Sometimes I have a mood for something short (movie), but after watching a lot of dramas all movies seem kind of incomplete, leaving me frustrated or bored. This drama is the best to watch if you feel this way. It is only four hours, but made with a quality of a normal drama (direction and settings) and the scenario is very well thought-out. The acting is also great. The title is stupid though.

this one is quite entertaining despite being old http://mydramalist.com/1072-be-strong-geum-soon (it may require skipping boring parts)
and this one is good for revenge and Lee Yoo Ri's performance http://mydramalist.com/16287-the-promise
and yes, Ugly Alert is still my favorite of them all :)
