Not sure if anyone already said this before, but I recently saw the scene from MVs and trailers where XLH went inside Fuju Cave, the tomb where DFCQ's feelings/emotions were removed. I think XLH will do this before she sacrifices herself so that DFCQ won't be sad about her passing. However, on another note this doesn't make sense as she is hoping that when she's gone DFCQ will always be happy and not lonely. But then maybe her priority changed because she wanted for him to be safe first.
Another however, we also saw in the MVs and trailers how devastated DFCQ when XLH stabs herself so maybe the love-removing ritual did not work or DFCQ stopped it before it was completed.
Huhuhu... This drama got me like thinking about it 24/7.
To those looking for the comments and reviews to decide whether to watch this or not, this is it. I am telling you this is not your typical Xianxia drama. The story, characters, CGI, acting and everything else is so good. I am very picky when it comes to watching dramas especially this long but you'll never regret watching this one. If you're thinking of watching this one go for it, you'll thank me!
What I find puzzling is that XR and XWQ who are supposed to face trials in the mortal realm and face their fates but for some reason the key to fulfilling their fates is XLH and CFQC, in their immortal forms.
XLH and DFQC are just in the mortal realm disguising as mortals and supposedly to just take a look at the situation with XWQ. So what if XLH and DFCQ didn't go to the mortal realm then that means XR and XWQ already failed at fulfilling their fates and therefore will turn into ashes.
Seems like we're getting the mortal arc in the next episodes (19-20). There are theories saying we'll get mortal arc after XLH/YX sacrifices/stabs herself, this seems unlikely. We'll probably get that after the mortal arc? Waaaaaa very curious as to how the story will go from here. Any thoughts please share. 😂
Wow so far I am liking this. If you're looking for a good laugh then this is it. Story might be a little cliche but it has it's own charm. Love all the characters so far and the relationships. 1st couple, best friends, ceo-secretary, even the grandfather's scenes are entertaining, and Ha Ri's family. Hopefully it will live up to its expectations and continue to give us a good laugh every episode.
Think that rating is kinda low based on 2 eps but hopefully people will pay more attention to this drama.
Might read the webtoon/novel while waiting for the next episode. 😊
Back here because I can't get over this drama. I tried to start with other dramas, Crush, Love Scenery, Begin Again. I'm trying but ended up just watching 1st to 2nd episode. Found myself just going back to rewatching ALP. What to do? :(
Edit: I am now obsessed with Zhou Dongyu. She's so pretty, not the conventional pretty but more on naturally beautiful. Everyone who says otherwise are blind and have unrealistic beauty standards set by no one. I'm now a big fan of hers.
Really love this xianxia drama. Would say on par with the best ones out there, such as Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Ashes of Love and Love and Redemption. To be honest love this more than Love and Redemption since the story really focused on the main couple and therefore less filler episodes. Love the way the actors portrayed the characters and everyone did a great job. The first part of the story where we still have Shanggu is really a refreshing part since there were comedic scenes and love they way the relationship blossomed. The second part of their love story (Ep 16 onwards) was a bit different than the first where the boy is now chasing the girl. So you get two love stories.
I just hoped they added 1 more episode, the ending is too short and sudden.
