I think main reason is Yuan Qi used up his spirit to save Daze Mountain. If you saw the preview for EP37, Feng Yin is saying he traded his life for the return of Daze Mountain and its disciples.
Another reason is possibly when he saved A Yin and when he refined the cloud pearl. Refining the cloud pearl to reveal the truth from the past also consumes a lot of his spirit.
This is the third time they're paired together. Really like Luo Zheng but he needs to land a better project. He got the looks, he can act and a great kisser. He just needs more exposure to other genres and to act with other actresses.

As many of the people here is saying, the FL's voice is apt for the character she's playing. She's a 1,500 thousand years old here as compared to ten thousands of years old immortals so she's like really young here. Though for the most part her voice will be like this her actions and her mindset will mature through out the story. I find it odd too at first but it did grow on me eventually and don't mind it as much as I did in the first few eps. As most viewers I think her voice gets less annoying as they watch the drama so I hope you do too as you continue to watch it.

To answer your other question we as viewers confirmed FL loves him is on ep 24 you will see there she asks love advice and she remembers the ML while out with the 2ML. TBH, it's difficult to pin point when they fall in love but there were sign here and there even before eps 24 .
