Just finished episode 4, I really like how they are handling this sensitive topic and so looking forward to find out more about Lee Soo Hyuk's and Kim Hee Sun's shared past

I will easily admit that no one comes close to Matsumoto Jun's Domyoji. He fitted the role perfectly and did a really great job.
I loved the manga and Hana Yori Dango (J). Liked Meteor Garden (C). But could not bring myself to watch Boys Over Flowers(K). BOF (K) just seemed so wrong and I dropped it quite fast. But this one did a really good job in bringing it into 2022, incorporating how lives today are influenced by social media, in the second half its pace got a little mixed up but overall they did quite a good job. They allowed side characters to have more history. The biggest loss was that the FL Gorya (Makino J) had too little character development. I would have preferred to have more character growth for her instead of the side characters but we can't have everything 😄 And I didn't watch it for the suspense anyway 😅

PS to episode 16: I loved Thyme's proposal behaviour with no clue and that MJ got his story as well, even though it was wrapped up in a commercial 🤣

Boys Over Flowers will always have a very special place in my heart as it was the second drama I've ever watched back in 2005 and I thought that nothing could top the Japanese Hana Yori Dango, but this did! It way surpassed it. Beautifully set in modern times it retained its core. I was highly entertained. The actors did a wonderful job. Amazing OSTs. Great editing and directing. A big thank you to everyone involved.

Just finished ep 1, as expected, it was a phenomenal 1st episode. Alone the emotions he conveyed in that scene where he was first back in his home, this struggle between hope and helplessness that his parents might be there... breathtaking. LJG truly is one of the best actors out there. And his fighting scenes: top-notch. It's so impressive how fit he is.

Unfortunately rushed ending. It needed +15 minutes at the end with a present day meeting of NHD and BYJ, therefore only 9.5/10. Best sis-mance/friendship between athletes/sportsmanship EVER, I will miss NHD&KYR

Why is it so difficult to ask your daughter what she wants? I get that the senior forecaster wants to surprise his daughter, but isn't asking way better than buying the wrong present

I didn't like her making him lie to her parents at all. This is the reason why I deducted it just now from so far 9.5 of 10 to 8 of 10. This was so unnecessary! As someone who read the webtoon while it was being published I was really looking forward to how the drama will unfold his meeting with her parents as it is quite straightforward there (He comes to help out at the chicken restaurant, it's without any fuss etc). Him offering extra service at the hospital was also OK but would have been much better with revealed identity. This lying thing is my first major issue with this drama. It changes her character

Definitely! Me too. I don't know how many times I've watched it. It was like "once the glasses are off, you'll see my passion". It definitely gets my "Best Kiss Ever in a Kdrama Award" 😍🥰🙈😅😆

Episode 7: SH taking off his glasses was the best - if you've watched it, you know what I mean 😆😅☺🙈

Final episode: Adjussi asked the right questions: Would you have been able to love yourself? Why do you think did the perfume return you to your 23 year old self?

I just finished it and am definitely recommending Perfume. It is a great fantasy rom com drama with a beautiful ending. 9,5 of 10

Sorry but the actions in the later episodes were not believable at all. It felt like two different series. Too little character development. Overall lacking. Maybe a short-lived one time watch, 6 out of 10 for me.

I agree with you. It felt the same for me. I just finished it to have it finished but the actions were not believable at all. I liked the acting but will definitely not recommend this to anyone. 6 out of 10 for me.

The emotions and little nuances he conveyed in You Are My Glory were so wonderful. What a great actor! I loved him in Love O2O, in You Are My Glory, he was even better. He was cute in Once Upon A Time. I would love to see him in another romance drama. All the best to him
