Phuwin reminds me of Gong Jun. No chemistry with girls but a lot of chemistry with guys. The rooftop scene felt more like siblings than love interests ( Maybe I'm watching too much Taiwan BLs 😂😂). Despite all that, I'm enjoying the show a lot!
Adaptations are so risky, especially If the original is seen as a masterpiece. If this isn't anything but a masterpiece, it'll be seen as a failure. I hope GMM knows what they're doing.
moonlight chicken is still their best work. Gmm is seriously wasting Gemfots talents by doing mediocre work! They need a great original series ASAP! Remakes are not the way to go because they'll ALWAYS be compared to the original
I'll be honest, apart from Ryu and Java's side story, Dunk is the highlight of this show and it makes me very hopeful for heart killers. The rest just don't have great material to work with.

Yep also when Lan went to get lecture tickets for Ling and started talking so much about Ling while waiting in line that the guy he was talking to thought Ling was his girlfriend 😂😂. It's clear that the writers wanted both of them to be a couple but the censorship couldn't allow it so they left obvious hints for us to see 😂😂
This is obviously a BL btw: 1. Childhood friends 2. All of the other friends are interested and pursue the opposite gender EXCEPT Lan and Ling who are only interested in each other (obsessively) 3. The things they do for each other has no straight explanation (Even Xiao's parents were confused by their behavior in that dinner scene) 4. Gazing at the stars together and pouring their hearts out to each other (the best scene of the show) 5. Promising to be together for more than 60 years so they can see the stars again 6. Constantly talking about missing each other 7. Constantly hugging each other 8. Constantly putting their faces way too close to each other 8. Holding hands while running together 😂😂 9. They literally live together with no explanation given because it's all too obvious at this point!
After the mess that was Highschool return of a gangster I was completely demoralized by bromance but this show reminded me of why China is the only country that can make a bromance well and its not even close! No other country should be allowed to make a bromance except China!
And this is Hao Fu Shen's second bromance with very heavy BL undertones so I'm a big fan!
The actors are amazing, the writing is excellent, and the mood of the drama is perfect, so of course MDL would give this show a low rating! No taste whatsoever!
