I don't like how they undermined the SA and I also didn't like the inconsistency with Din's character. I genuinely loved Episodes 1-4 with all my heart.

Episode 5 onwards was where I was just confused and whiplashed. Tell me why Din was still super shy and respectful in Episode 4 but then suddenly got the confidence and guts in Episode 5. It made no sense. I also hated how dense they made Din's character towards the end considering she was so thoughtful in the earlier episodes. Like what do you mean you're more worried about the woman who got the love of your life SA'd than your actual lover.

Also, 8 episodes is definitely way too short. It made Rose such a boring main character with only the jealousy trope and last episode (caring daughter montage) showcasing anything else aside from being Din's love interest. I hated how Din relied so much on her cousins. I get they need the cameos to make sense but it literally makes Din look so pathetic, it's not even funny at times anymore.

My Rating:
Episodes 1-4 = 10/10
Episode 5-8 = 7/10

Literally. Years later, this is still my favorite GL of all time. It was so well done. It served its purpose which was to give the feels.

I have to agree. Although I think it can be attributed to people's love for the Reverse With Me book. The book is way better than the show and I wish they did it justice but even my bias towards the book couldn't save this adaptation. :(

This is such a breath of fresh air. It deserves so much more recognition for its quality, comedy, tropes, and feels. The episodes are so long yet it doesn't leave you bored midway. IDF did their thing with SWSH for sure.
