this is exactly what the pilot trailer promised from gmmtv 2025. honestly, I think it's better than what that trailer promised. I didn't think I would like this show because this is not my style, but it might be their best show yet. their acting feels stronger, their chemistry feels stronger, and both of them seem to be having a lot of fun with it.
that's not to say that you can't feel how you feel about it. there's nothing wrong with not gelling with the tone or the comedy—that's exactly why I didn't think I would like it. and there's nothing wrong with being disappointed with a show. I felt the same about the heart killers when it came out. but let's not pretend that we didn't all know this show was going to be this when it was announced :/
dear users of this page. i apologise, i just have no idea what to do, since this is the first time someone has…
not to intrude on shit that's none of my business, but their reply to you was super aggressive. you were not. I don't know why they jumped you like that, but you shouldn't apologize, you didn't do anything wrong, in my opinion, you were perfectly respectful
People like sweet teenybopper series with their favorite ships. People in the bl fandom don't watch series for…
okay but isn't that also partially why most of us are here? because we wanna watch a show with mileapo? just because a show is a more series drama with a deep message, that doesn't automatically make it a masterpiece and everything else garbage. you like what you like, everyone else likes what they like. a show not being your style doesn't instantly make it trash.
okay just so I know I'm not crazy, did anyone else notice that Thup's right eye is a slightly different color????? I thought it was just the lighting, but I swear it's like that in every scene
I have so many things to say about this. What a frustrating watch lmao. PETE was possesive to the point that…
... for two years, I have waited for literally anyone else to admit that Pete was fucking toxic, oh my god. I was genuinely baffled when I watched this show cause Pete was so toxic for most of it, BUT EVERYONE BLAMED KAO FOR IT????? his behavior was literally insane, I have no idea why people have given him such a free pass
For this one I'm gonna want novel spoilers before I even think about it, I think. Nothing that I'm getting from…
ngl, I've watched only friends, thk, and moonlight chicken, and I think khaotung is an incredible actor and an absolute sweetheart, but his fans cannot stop turning every project into the khaotung show, I don't anticipate this being any different. even if the writing is balanced, they'll find a way (and I'm glad somebody other than me has noticed, I thought I was crazy 😭)
I'm asking this out of genuine curiosity, people who like Juha, why? I'm sorry, but I was never able to get behind that man, ESPECIALLY not after what he did to Seheon in episode 3, like what do you see in him??????
i mean, theres only one episode so it won't be absolutely 10/10 amazing and perfect. I think maybe hold off on…
no, I'm definitely not saying I think this show is gonna be trash or anything, this was just my initial opinion of the first episode, I could (and probably will) feel completely differently next week. I think not every first episode of a show works, like tale of a thousand stars and unintentional love story are some of my favorites and I think they have some extremely mid first episodes, so things can easily change cause first episodes are usually just a lot of establishing for the rest of the show
I have to be honest, so far, I'm not impressed. I've been really looking forward to this show, especially FadelStyle, but I'm just not feeling any of it. I don't particularly like any of the characters, I think all of them are tired and overdone. I'm not invested in Kant, I'm tired of First and his smartass characters, I'm sick of Khaotung being cutesy in everything (I think only friends showed his range, and I would much rather see more of that), but I do like Style in concept (even if Dunk's acting is not supporting it), and I'm iffy on Fadel. so far, I think his character is the most enjoyable, and I think Joong's performance is the most entertaining, but I can see Fadel's character getting very old very quickly. and honestly, a lot of the interactions just feel very... I can't explain it, but it reminds me of plastic. artificial and forced, none of them really have chemistry with each other. I feel like I've been let down by gmm this year a few times (was not a fan of kidnap, and I'm a little disappointed with perfect10), but I think they've also really surprised me (like with we are (I know people have thoughts about that one 💀) and especially high school frenemy). I'm keeping my hopes high though, I want this show to be good. I think the first trailer had much better energy than this one, so I may just be salty about that, but idk.
I'm sorry, I know everyone has very subjective taste and for sure this show is not going to be another Moonlight…
I think we are may be the most controversial thing gmmtv has ever put out cause I swear I've never seen anyone agree about it. personally, I really liked we are, and I'm someone who HATES when shows don't have a plot, but I honestly found it really delightful and fun, and I loved the dialogue. shows like the thk and only friends are much more my speed, but so far, I'm not impressed, and I think a lot of people aren't. obviously it's too early to call with just one episode, but I guess that's just the way of things ┐( ˘_˘)┌
y'all are such haters. if it's not something you're interested in, then don't watch it. this comment section is so polluted, some of us actually want to be here and enjoy the show. you don't have to like it, just please be respectful.
complicated, he did that boring “we are”, he's the director of Fourever You, and guess what, that BL goes…
I say this as nicely as I possibly can, just because you didn't like we are doesn't mean you have to be rude and call it boring. it's fine that you didn't like it, everyone has different taste, but calling it boring is a bit much.
