I get where your coming from but like i’ve said that’s just how I feel when I was watching. Plus, this isn’t the first Webtoon adaption, so I was fully ready for changes.

I actually love your reply. I also thought her crying in front of him make it seems like she felt safe with him. It's cliché but it's little things like this that make me love it.

At least now it seems like he has seen everything of her, and she was able to become more open with him, especially straight up telling him about her crush and how she was going to end it. Now, I feel like I can watch the drama without having to worry about her 7 years crush anymore

I think that, if they were friends for 7 years, and the long period of time she and him were single, up until he started dating his ex-girlfriend again. The amount of time they've spent together, including her comforting him after his breakup, and being his #1 supporter, and he still haven't shown any interest in her. I doubt he will come back?

It's very promising so far, I really hope it stays that way. I'm going to re-read the webtoon as I wait

Well I know we have to wait, LOL, i was just indicating, I noticed that's the pattern with her. Because in general, rumours will always surround Songyun regardless of who she's with. It's hard for her to let loose of what "anti" says, she's an artist/actress, she might not care as much, but she's afraid it will affect her partner or other people around her. For instance, Ren Jialun, or If you recalled "Ou Hao" rumours, she even talked about it on a show "not needing to explain to people" but she's still sad by hearing and being pulled into it. As well. she has mentioned wanting to try out a lot of different characters, so I think she just wants to have the opportunity to work with a lot more people than just the same people.

Either way, I hope for the best, I know she always makes great choices when it comes to her dramas, and I've never been disappointed with whatever she chose.

Yeah, but i didn’t really count whirlwind or Love 020 cause she wasn’t a lead. I meant like both leading of the drama, she didn’t seems to act twice with the same guy.

Scrolling all the way down to mdl page of TSATB you can see my essay of rants :)) its okay. Now i see a lot of people enjoy it, which i’m very happy. I’m a huge Tan Songyun fan so i want all her drama to be good

Definitely! I remember ranting and being so annoyed at people complaining about it, like TSATB is not the FIRST concubine drama, and idk why everyone act so surprise. I’m glad ti find someone who enjoy it as much as I do.

Tbh it’s the same everywhere, douban or MDL. Ratings are usually based on the cast too and bias, so i stop looking at those to judge a drama. Quite disappointing but that’s what I see. TSATB was scored low cause a lot of people couldn’t handle the “concubine concept”, when I first started that drama, MDL page was flooded with people being against it.

Drama won't have a sequel. The writer have said that she was very satisfied with the current ending.

I'm actually so surprised reading your comment because some people said she was dull. I think this is her first time taking on this, she did mention in an interview this was a challenge for her, but I agree, there's still a lot of flaws but it is pretty good
