Well, I think Viki have to wait for subbers, if you want faster subs, you can try the apps WeTv and iQiyi (depending on your region) I get subs right away on episodes they release, whereas Viki you kind of have to wait for a while.

I personally suspected her because there was a lot of off detail, but I didn't know at that time if she was teaming up with the Ou's or not. On top of that, It was like an elimination kind of thing. As recently, there were more scenes of Concubine Qin and it kind of confirmed everyone's suspicion.

The only thing I got out of her was, she forced herself to watch something she was uninterested in. I am fine with people having different opinion, but please review on dramas you have interest in watching, rather watching something just cause it's "hot" then hate it. I don’t think Tan Song Yun suits this character, I prefer her in Under the Power.
I think it's time for her to change her style tho. Even though, this character was pretty different, her character in UTP was way too similar to all her old characters, quirky, playful, smart and childish. I think this is a really huge change for her, she even acknowledge so and said in the interview, this is a brand new thing for her. I know a lot of people still held up on her UTP character but definitely, she's doing an extremely good job here.

In my opinion, ShiYi's action was pretty much justifiable. A lot people might say, "oh he's trying his best to love her and she's not loving him back" Yeah, you all need to understanding the consistency of the story, she is currently suspecting him, it will make absolutely no sense for someone to drop their suspicion and just fall in love. If we think about it, after this misunderstanding, they might even trust each other even better, like who knows, we're literally still like 10-15 episodes away.
First of all, I know there is a lot of mixed feeling about this drama, first, it was the whole 'wives, concubines' now it's ShiYi. I know a lot of people feel that ShiYi's character is quite clueless, or from what I've seen, people called her 'stupid'. This is my thought on her up to episode 36.
I don't think you guys should be quick to judge her character, instead reflect and remember what happened from the beginning up to now. ShiYi is a daughter of a lowly concubine, who isn't even favoured by anyone in the house. The only person she loved was murdered and the Luo family blamed it on her for trying to escape (have y'all seen Wang Yu? I would run away too). Now, she has an arranged marriage with this Marquis, who she suspected to be involved in her mother's death? Obviously, her plan was to keep quiet and continue to investigate. At this time, her decision makes a lot of sense because she wasn't in love with this man, she doesn't have a reason or a purpose to stay here, on the other hand, the Luo family just want to use her, as a way of keeping the connection between the two families.
A lot of you said, she's nice to everyone, even when they tried to harm her. Think of it like this, she was married into this family, she doesn't have a voice cause Xu Madame still held up on the LianFang situation. So, if she comes in, starts talking back to everyone, wouldn't that just look like she's abusing her power as the main wife? Definitely, nobody would properly respect her for sure. Like, at that time, nobody is even on her side, the Marquis even thought that she told on the Xu Family for not letting her manage the house affairs (Do you see the picture here? Madame Xu was constantly protecting LianFang at that time to, so who can she even trust?)
I just want to say, ShiYi was super young when everything happened to her (16), now she's (18) with no love experience, the only thing in her mind is her mother and when you have a goal, you're easily moved (I mean, look at Amber, her goal is to find her sister and she's willing to do anything before) and it's not like she believed the dude's story right away, she continued to investigate and up until he said "It's my fault" what was she suppose to do? Freaking our Marquis boy is seeking love advice from his General and servants, as a man with this many wives, he still doesn't even know what to do when it comes to girls.
Although she was wrong it was a learning experience for the both of them, to finally learn to trust and believe in each other. After this, ShiYi definitely matured more
Anyways, If you guys are seeking for a hardon skinship romance, then this drama is definitely not for you. I've said this before, don't compare this to the book version, novel and dramas are like two different things, there are certain details they had to change or switched, if you could, please don't compare them. These are once again my personal opinion on the drama so far, please ignore if you don't agree.
