we clearly have diff meanings of selflessness. Since you misunderstand what I am saying... she is trying to spare the characters feelings and also caring too much about what they would say about her. She has already experienced countless times people spreading false rumors about her, abusing her / taking her for granted / making her out to be a fool. In her mind people will shit talk her anyways and spread lies about her so what does it matter if she destroys everything and burns all her bridges? Also she was selfless in helping Jong Hyeon and not hesitating to have him move in with her. She saw that he needed help and she legit wanted to be there for him because he was kind hearted and reminded her of her brother. If you can't see that idk what to tell you. And if you hate her then that's also your problem. I am not even defending her but I empathize with her and feel sorry for her. As I keep saying what happened already happened. All she can do is move forward and start doing things for herself instead of worrying about others / trying to spare their feelings by lying and running away from her problems. If you haven't noticed her "selflessness" is killing her and she keeps on getting hurt in the process. She may come across as toxic or a "bitch" at times but again you legit do not understand her character if you can't see that her character is not just one dimensional. She is human, she is flawed and she's just going through her life making A LOT of mistakes but hopefully she will grow and learn from them.

I love how the leads especially Sang su always owns up to his flaws / faults. I'm sure he wishes things could have been different / gone differently. But the fact that he had the courage to say sorry to Mi Gyeong and admit that he was a bit selfish was very big of him. Sometimes we all can be more than a bit selfish especially when it comes to love. And sang su is someone who usually puts other happiness before his own... imo he deserves to find /love and be happy even if it comes across as selfish to someone else. My point is sometimes you have to be selfish and take care of yourself first.

I feel like I'm the only person who absolutely cannot stand Jong Hyeon. He needs to get a grip. Su Yeong never liked him as much as she felt sorry for him and used him as a way out... a reason for her and Sang Su to not be together / to make him hate her and try to let his feelings for her go away. He needs to be fr... she literally never loved him. While that's sad the way he pines after her when all is said and done is sickening. Not to mention he was buddying it up with his study partner.
