I feel sorry for Su Yeong bc it's obvious that she hates herself / her life. She can't fathom why anyone would like her or even want to be with her when she has so much baggage. Even worse she can't understand why such a kind hearted man like Sang Su would like her and keep on liking her despite everything. She comes across as cold, unfeeling, and cruel.. Lmaooo I really believe she has a dismissive avoidant attachment style. She does nothing but push others away in order to avoid emotional connection, attachment, and closeness to others. She also resents the fact that she has to keep on living while the only person she loved and who loved her (her brother) died, I believe she thinks she should have died instead. LIKE DAMN – she needs to heal fr. Like I can empathize with her but its just so sad... she refuses to accept love bc deep down she thinks she is not deserving / worthy of it...
Lmaooo I don't even think Su Yeong understands herself. Because she does all these chaotic things expecting a reaction from Sang Su but when he doesn't give her the reaction she wants / desires.. she gets mad. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE lol. They both do the opposite of what the other expects. Maybe in her head she thinks he doesn't care about her or even despises her because of what she did but that's so far from the truth.
Idc I'm kinda on Su Yeong's side... I can really see that she tried to diffuse the situation by taking and putting all the blame on herself. She felt that she couldn't break up with Jong Hyeon and tell him it was because she likes someone else so instead she resorts to making him think the absolute worst of her – that she is a cheater. Sigh... I guess she doesn't want him to think it is hus fault but feels like whether she tells the truth or a lie... the end result will be the same. I feel so bad for Sang Su bc he is hopelessly in love with her and you can tell even though he's in pain he knows she's in pain and can't understand why she makes such rash decisions and has so many self destructive tendencies. He cares for her and wants to be there for her but his head is at conflict with his heart. He's seeing Su Yeong's actions and attempts to push him away but at the same time he can't help the way he feels about her. Also in his mind the Su Yeong knows is so different to the person she pretends to be and he just wants to help – to ease her pain maybe?
