From the first moment he did not ever find the search party to look for her and doubted she was kidnapped even after he was provided with an eye witness account and sufficient evidence, he was no longer her husband in my eyes.
For that horrible man to even suggest she had willingly ran away with Jang Hyun again and that her friends were covering for her was the tipping point. And for him to have the audacity to come back empty handed and without his wife because he believed she was no longer worth saving because she was "soiled" solidified the fact that he was never actually her husband. You don't abandon those you care for and love like that!
