Yeah I think his jealousy always gets the better of him. He claims he cares about Jang Hyun and wants to see him happy and yet he still can’t understand that the person who makes Jang Hyun happiest is Gil Chae. I find Ryang Eum to be super hypocritical because he would literally risk his life and give up everything to save Jang Hyun if the roles were reversed.

I believe he needs to stop making decisions for Jang Hyun. Jang Hyun is a grown man and as he has stated he will continue to do what his heart tells him to do. Ryang Eum still has so much to learn but I hope he will not betray Jang Hyun again or conspire with their enemies (the officer or skank princess) to try and remove / get rid of Gil Chae forever. He will only hurt himself in the end as he will have to watch Jang Hyun be miserable for the rest of his life.

I doubt she will get redemption because this is a historical drama. She is going to be the villain until the end 😭 her quotes in the preview said she won’t allow anyone to take the man that she wants. I also dk if she’ll plot with Ryang Eum (or the officer) but there’s a high possibility she might. Let’s see what lengths and measures she’s willing to take / go to get what she wants.

Also Gil Chae said all that not knowing that the princess could understand her. Gil Chae didn’t care what Da Jin’s mom translated back to her because she knew she’d gloss over what she said 😭 and Gil Chae was lowkey right why was the princess interested in her business / life. I agree with everything you said. it took RE and YJ 2 months to go to Simyang and come back. Meanwhile that spineless officer had the comfort of his home, bed and meals his poor “wife” was out ther suffering, walking for at least 29 days and couldn’t even have a sip of water. He actually can’t convince me that he cares about Gil Chae so he should stop with the crocodile tears and stop preventing others who do care about her from going to rescue her. He is no husband and he shouldn’t even call himself a man 😭😭 worse referring to Gil Chae as “my dear” I am so tired of him!!! I’m really hoping Jang Hyun kills him this time. It’s the way I know he would literally kill those men who abducted her too… but lmao in due time.
