Idk I don't like the princess guess some ppl would say I am biased but after she tried to play games with them and hunt them down while she's on her high horse (literally speaking) ... I don't think she has a heart. Only a psychopath would do something like that knowing damn well that man would risk anything and everything to save the love of his life. Jang Hyun’s screams are still etched into my brain. I’ll never forget how he bolted to save GC. All the evidence shows us is that psycho princess is evil and has a relentless need to win. She’s not going down without a fight or bloodshed.

I think saying she "loves" him is a stretch. She’s infatuated with him and will stop at nothing bc she’s used to getting her way. I still hate her, idc. I feel like she has no humanity… to say she’s like GC and JH at the beginning is crazy. GC was self absorbed when it came to the boys in the village cuz she knew they all liked her but no way did she intentionally try to hurt their their feelings. She only used them to make Yeon Jun jealous and when she realized it did not work she was at a standstill. She literally did not want them to go to war bc she feared they would die. GC grew up a lot when she realized Yeon Jun would never act upon his feelings and choose her. Not to mention she had to face so much trials and tribulations during the invasion and she was resilient because she knew her friends were depending on her. She did not think twice about saving / helping them. Jang Hyun on the other hand has always put on a facade and had his walls up since day 1. He never wanted people to figure him out or know his motives. He’s always been wise and kind hearted. He just let his guard down when it came to GC bc he fell in love with her. He wanted her to see his heart and trust him, but before all of that he was always saving people. Just think of how he saved Ryang Eum's life when he was being tortured / abused as a child. Whatever "faults" you believe GC and JH had or "wrongs" you believe they committed against others is literally so tame / insignificant in comparison to that wicked princess.

Princess Skank on the other hand literally doesn’t care about anyone but herself… she didn’t even mind shooting / killing Jang Hyun… does she look remorseful to you?? She’s literally devising another plan as we speak bc she’s cunning and only has malicious intent towards both especially bc she realized she will never be able to have Jang Hyun’s heart. Unlike you I don't think she will change for the better... she has never known the brutality of war or oppression. She lives in a palace in her little bubble surrounded by people who would give up and take their lives to protect her. She values nothing and no one. She will never understand what it is to love someone or risk her life and make sacrifices to protect the people you care about. When her husband did not return her feelings she killed him. It's so clear she does not have a heart or empathy for others. That should tell you enough about her character. She's coldblooded like a snake. All skin and bones not much else.

As far as I'm concerned the princess is a lunatic. She behaves like a spoilt child who throws a tantrum when she can't get her way. Also she is trying to create the illusion like she has power and she doesn't... she is literally just a woman and literally has to do whatever the emperor tells her to do. If he sells her off to be married she will have to go. At the moment she's bored and Jang Hyun is just a new toy until she gets bored of him / shipped off to fulfill her princess duties. Now that Gil Chae has re-entered the story she feels like things are going to get interesting because she has this insatiable need to prove that she can and will have him. Gil Chae is literally an ant to her, she will crush her if need be just to hurt Jang Hyun / teach him a lesson. I'm so sure she will try to take a way the one thing he loves (Gil Chae) in the hope that he will bend to her will and become the object of her desires when he is left with no choices. She's so delusional though because Jang Hyun already told her she will never have his heart. Gag Hwa is much too craven and reeks of desperation. I'd pity her but she doesn't deserve it.

In my opinion, the princess should quit while she is ahead because Jang Hyun would rather die / sacrifice himself than to see his love suffer and the princess knows it too (she's witnessed it first hand) And now she's scheming to come up with a plan that can remove Gil Chae (without her being killed I presume) all while securing Jang Hyun. It will be interesting to see what she does next.

Also, how dare you compare Gil Chae to her... Gil Chae is someone who sacrificed time and time again for her friends and family. She killed for Eum Ae and she would surely do it again. The princess is wicked to her subordinates. Gil Chae treated Jong Jong like her sister – they were practically family. I need you to be astronomically fr. There's no way Gil Chae would ever do what Princess Skank did. Even if Gil Chae got a second chance to do things differently she would still make the same decisions and endure till the end. I hated her even more and wanted her to die when she literally used Jang Hyun and Gil Chae as pawns in her game like the little story she told before. Her trying to hunt down Gil Chae on horse while Jang Hyun was running on foot without any weapons I may add was an unfair advantage. She is so sick basically she was trying to tell him she'd win at any cost no matter how hard he tried. Thankfully, seeing Gil Chae about to be shot down really gave Jang Hyun the extra adrenaline to save Gil Chae, besting and outwitting Princess Skank (I think she was surprised seeing what lengths he would go to for her) That scene was so swoon worthy and I think this drama is raising my expectations so much. Istg if someone doesn't take out that wicked princess soon I just might have to 😭 I'm honestly so tired of her character but ik this isn't the end.

This drama just showing me that the value of love will always be stronger than the value of hate. Princess Skank has so much to learn. Episode 14 put me through so many emotions. I literally hate that Qing Princess and wish her to die. She is so disgusting / infuriating that she makes my blood boil. I can't fathom why she's obsessed with Jang Hyun other than the fact that she cannot stand not being able to have all of him or even a part of him for herself. She's stuck up, spoilt, spiteful and greedy. Ntm that woman is frigid and she will never know or understand the meaning of true love or sacrifice for those that you love. She pissed me off so much... Gil Chae had already been through so much and she just had to put her through the wringer repeatedly to see Jang Hyun's reactions and to test how deep his love for her was. She literally is a bored and useless woman with too much free time on her hands. Lmaooo like she can't just mind her business or find some other easy man to f*ck??? Like babes you're a princess and it's giving desperate. Lmao she doesn't have any shame!!

When Gil Chae was answering her questions and eating her up I was screaming even knowing Gag Hwa (name fitting for how repulsive she is) was just testing her. I can't even express how much I hateeee that cunning bitch 😭 My poor baby Gil Chae had to be whipped for being sassy like comeeee on! This was her quiet little resistance and I loved her even more for it.

Ughhhh this episode was frustrating as it was both heartbreaking and heartwarming when Jang Hyun saved Gil Chae's life. The way he ran and screamed her name will forever be etched into my brain. He literally tried to outrun the princess on the horse! If that's not true love and real raw emotions idk what is. They are still in love and it's so clear they would die for each other. Definition of ride or die fr! I appreciated Gil Chae speaking up and telling that entitled bitch she would curse her and that she would suffer if Jang Hyun had died.

The emotion and desperation in Gil Chae's voice when enquiring about Jang Hyun's condition literally broke my heart into a million pieces. The way she stayed by his bedside and tried to break his fever was something else. When he awoke and found her beside him and called out "Bu-in" I think I melted 🥺 The emotions on their faces sad more than words could express. Their chemistry is quite literally INSANE and I have to commend both Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin for acting their butts off and bringing this story to life.

I find Ryang Eum annoying because he knows how much Jang Hyun loves and needs Gil Chae in his life or to at least know she's alive and well and yet he's still bitter about Jang Hyun loving her and willing to take any risk / means necessary to save her. Ryang Eum is lowkey a hypocrite and he's just miserable because he can't confess to Jang Hyun knowing his feelings would be rejected. When Yang Chun put him in his place and said Jang Hyun sees him like a little brother I cheered. He literally needs to wake up and face reality.

Jang Hyun has his own free will and if he chooses to sacrifice himself to save Gil Chae that is on him. I'm sure Ryang Eum would do the same in his position so I really don't know what he thinks he's trying to achieve by being the gatekeeper of Jang Hyun. Gil Chae and Jang Hyun are soulmates and they will do anything to protect and save one another. That much is obvious, it doesn't matter if they have to get hurt or suffer because their love for each other outweighs all of that.

Episode 14 was definitely another 10/10 episode for me 😭

I am so excited for the next episode and for once I feel like I can finally breathe and sleep well knowing they've at least reunited and are both still alive. I forgot to mention this but I am super worried about Jong Jong, I hope she endures until the end and will be okay 🥺

Rolling my eyes at Ryang Eum in the teaser for the next episode... it's clear he still hasn't learned from his past mistakes and is still trying to get rid of Gil Chae. I wonder if he will try to bring the scummy officer (Won Moo) back to collect her. If that is the case istggg I will have no more sympathy toward him. Lowkey don't care how it happens but Gil Chae needs to get rid of Won Moo... he is only her husband in name and nothing else.

I am so ready to see Gil Chae be happy with her real husband, Jang Hyun. Idc if she remarries or cheats... I just don't want her to be trapped with that officer guy who deemed her valueless/inadequate after hearing about what happens to the women captives when they are sold. Gil Chae deserves better than that contrary to what some haters on here believe. A true husband would never leave his wife to suffer and have other people handle business for him. Still not over the fact that he is as spineless as he is worthless.

Anyway, it's nice to see Jang Hyun and Gil Chae smile again, I think my heart burst 😭❤️
