That's no excuse. When the Weather is Nice is a slow burn story but nailed it so far. You know your writing isn't convincing when you have to kill a character in a way that even a 12-year-old wouldn't have died just to keep the story going.

The fact that ep 03 and 04 (still a slow burn story, right?) were touching and moved the story in a nicer way shows that the first two were a mistake. I have no problem with a romance drama being slow, my problem is when writers think that an adult going alone to a far place, with a bad weather, KNOWING the danger and having no urgency (the person was already dead for years, for god's sake) is totally plausible makes me mad. It's sad because that trow a lot of people off, which is sad since ep 03 and 04 were so much better. We have other AI movies and dramas where the writers made it possible for us to have sympathy for a machine without 2 hours of having a human-turned-software on screen. Flashbacks would make way more sense here.

The story could easily start from ep 03 with some minor modifications. Ep 01 e 02 felt like filler.

You will find tons of it, if you look close enough. This is supposed to be a two-season drama, so it will take a while.

Not only we have great leads, but the supporting cast is also terrific. I don't actually miss someone on screen because there are a lot of great stories. It seems like if there's any romance at all, it would be with between the main leads and its supporting cast. Amazing.

The ending of the second episode and the preview for next week makes these first two episodes feel like filler LMAO.

The fact that the character mentioned earlier has a coffee place in Seoul is probably a setup from when they split up and she goes back to Seoul.

Lame, but since there's a cameo of a good looking actor everyone is going to love it. Storywise, this was a disappointment.

I don't think I can trust kisskh ratings anymore. Like, for anything. I swear, as soon as any famous actor or idol is involved most you immediately think it's a 10. This drama became a mess after episode six.

Yeah, I thought as soon as the "4 years later" appeared on the screen I knew they were going to screw up.
