What amazes me here is the villains were wearing a bullet vest armed with high powered gun but t they weren't…
They were wearing the PLOT-ARMOR, the most powerful armor of all

Well, have you seen how they've treated their non-asian shows? They simply cancel it if there's not enough people…
I am talking about the entertainment industry here. I was talking about their drama process and you came into the politics side. A discussion about this topic here is out of the place.

But then I saw your "Logic" pic. That explains a lot.

You still don't get the point. I recommend that you read the article mentioning this so you could educate yourself on this matter. Also, look how China deals with this and see if this is just " the way things are going to be from now on". Cheers.

Like I said, it's not about how it is today, but rather how it could look in the future, and not only from Netflix perspective, but also from Amazon's and other giant corporations. I think only tvn could face them since they're owned by a big company.

It's not about a forced ending, it's just that the show was programmed to end this way so it could get more subscribers just like Stranger Things. The problem is, not every show is a Stranger Things, and if you see how they're canceling any TV Show that isn't stranger things you would agree with me. As for the cinematography and storytelling, Netflix was once known for having the best TV shows out there, now they became a joke just for the sake of having "1,200 TV shows" in their catalog. I'm talking about the long game and what it means for Korean television. There a few articles out there about this

I'd rather a second season over an abrupt conclusion. But eh you're not wrong, for better or worse
The "abrupt conclusion" was the goal from ep 01. Of course this is a setup for a second season, and that's why people are mad. Most of us watch dramas for this exact reason. 16-20 episodes, one story.

Why is everyone so mad? This is a netflix original show and thus likely going to get a second season. Normal k-dramas…
Well, have you seen how they've treated their non-asian shows? They simply cancel it if there's not enough people willing to pay for it. That's probably won't happen to Vagabond, but what about the others? And that's not a 100% original, they just bought the rights. My First First Love and Love Alarm are Netflix-produced dramas. If they can choose how a Korean made production will go today, imagine what they can do in the future. It may seem "fine" for now, but what comes next? In a few years Koreans won't have a say in basically nothing that they produced. It's not for nothing that France has such strict laws when it comes to content produced there.

Instead of making a cohesive story they just choose to make the fans desperate for a new season. That's exactly why most people watch kdramas in the first place. 16 episodes. The whole story.

"Want to see what happens next? Just pay for Netflix that maybe we will finish the story".

As of today, I will only watch Netflix dramas after they're done airing and there are no plans for a new season.

Netflix is destroying the kdrama formula. Sad.

That’s great! Haha There’s better shows out there that is more worthy of your time.
Learned that the hard way after finishing a lot of so-so dramas. Not this time. Great review.

"The show recycled every drama trope under the sun from amnesia to love triangles. The most aggravating thing about it is that it made fun of it in the first half of the series."

Exactly. I dropped it the second I realized that was happening.

They can always use a "2 years later", Suzy's character probably thinking that Cha Dal died and all that. Based on Jennifer talk with the President, the first scene of the drama seems to be about that "New Business" in the middle east.

unfortunately not
Well, into the "dropped" it goes. Thanks for the heads up, time for some Camellia.

I'm on EP 20-32 and I'm feeling like the plot stopped for a while now. The main character stopped living her own life to shout "Haru" whenever she gets the chance. Does it get better?

Enjoyed this story, felt original and outgoing. Everyone did a fantastic job. Just wish there was more closure…
Don't ruin it for other people. There's a "spoiler" checkbox.
