i read news about Suzy being casted for a new drama and at least one film for next year. how is the schedule going…
yeah, it also gives people who don't know the kdrama formula the false idea that there's more content coming into the service. There are a lot of tv shows with 8 or 10 episodes per season in the U.S (HBO for example), so the idea that Korean drama also has two seasons with 8 or 10 episodes seems plausible. But for us, it's infuriating because we know Suzy will be shooting a new movie and drama by the time the promotions for the second season starts. They pay for a single TV show but get to advertise it as something new twice.
This is basically a resume of almost every drama released this year, sadly.
Two friends are watching it, one is loving it and the other not so much, but at the end of the day, it seems to me that everything is the same as other dramas I've watched. Perhaps the dramas you watched didn't feature the same cliches that most dramas I've watched do? I'll probably watch in the future but "anything but predictable" is a bit of stretch, isn't?

Almost every drama that came out this year wasn't a bad one, it was just not that great. The acting was well done but they were predictable. I only watched 2 episodes of this drama and I'm pretty sure how it's going to end.
A good read on this topic: https://www.forbes.com/sites/joanmacdonald/2019/11/08/should-korean-dramas-have-seasons-or-do-fans-prefer-dramas--because-they-dont/#2fc555423980
You clearly don't know the people who follow idols around here. Go look at Angel's Last Mission: Love so you can understand what I am talking about.
