I can accept it as the original novel is sad ending, they did not end up together and both have moved on with…
Though, not always ending up together is reality, I'm thankful for the ending in here because we can see they still have a chance. The novel is award winning so I think the production don't want to sway too much with the original content.

I can accept it as the original novel is sad ending, they did not end up together and both have moved on with their own lives (?). Is it really the ending of the novel, I think I read some comments that it was but I'm not so sure anymore.
