The character of Jang gi tae is like an 8 yr old's. I don't know if that's the plan of the writer or maybe that was just the actor's portrayal of his character but it's kinda weird to make an adult act like a kid in certain situations. It looks ridiculous. I thought he'll change his dynamics this season, but it didn't. So maybe that's what it is. But it sure is weird though.
The tags on this don't seem to include romance. And it's an action- thriller, so I'm really looking forward to this. There is also something in Han so hee that fits this genre so much. I don't know why, but she's crazily good in doing thrillers just like Abyss and My Name. Sometimes, it doesn't hurt to see a gorgeous face doing some action scenes, you know.
I love this actor! His choice of projects really suited him. He's really good when it comes to making his character alive on-screen. His comedic timing is also impressive. Very versatile and shows prowess in comedy as well.
The gay and sex part were the easiest to digest. The motives to kill and take another person's life, including an innocent child, is the hardest to take in. It is so dark, I can't even begin to imagine. Boksoon, as a minor, killed her own father, and the org. agreed to take an innocent kid's life as a mission.
Waaaah! Boksoon made John Wick look like a conservative Catholic. This movie has a looooot of worldly themes woven all throughout from beginning to end and though I can't put it in the gory genre, I definitely and boldly say it has dark and demonic themes inserted in it. If you don't call child sacrifice as demonic, I don't know what is. Movies are meant to entertain, but as a mature audience, one can't help but notice that, as I was being entertained by the grandeur of the movie, our minds are subtly being fed with these type of blood-curling messages. And the minors who engage in homosexual behavior is something we have to take into account too. The moment we use children as objects to make a certain message acceptable to our society, is the moment we have to start thinking of where we are as a society is going to. I have no qualms of adults doing all the evil in the movies, JUST STAY AWAY FROM USING CHILDREN.
Effin' hilarious! KJH made this drama fun to watch and KHS, I realized, is a versatile and amazing actress. Every single character in this drama just made this whole thing so worth watching.
I love that the entire theme, feel and atmosphere coincides with the pace of this drama. I believe that the entire plot is based and revolves around the Traumerei - the music itself and its nuances. Has good balance in storytelling - nothing shocking or crazy, nor flat and boring. Characters have good balance of their strengths and flaws and was delivered well by the cast. Just don't be jaded to think that it's real coz it's not. Inspired from, yes. Beyond that, I'm not sure. I consider this a light drama. And it's a great, easy watch on a weekend. Alone. π
I don't watch dramas based on leads' chemistry and how famous the actors are. I enjoy kdramas because of the sheer ingenuity and creativity of the people behind the production making up the total quality of the drama. Yes, actors play a very huge role in making/breaking a character of the story, but this drama just didn't deliver. I was really, really, hoping that it will soon improve after the 4th eps. and get better as the episodes progress, however it was very painful to watch. The plot/ story/ script is just all over the place. It was very sad that Kim Min Jae had been part of this. He had so much potential. As well as the other actors. Anyway, after the 14th eps. I skipped to the 32nd so that at least I can finally finish it and move on to my next drama. I'm super sad with this.
