also now that i think about it the whole point of the show is that the teachers are evil and the kids try to rebel and save run. so either the kids have to "win" and escape or the writer is going to try pull a bait switch in the end like "they're actually not evil they're just teaching them life lessons to make the world a better place" type of plot...yet i literally cannot think of a single justifiable reason they could have for drugging the kids in the beginning what the hell
