Viu website using VPN set to any country it’s available in. It should be free on Viu because it’s an older series.

I just got onto Viu website using a VPN (because not available here in the US) and it looks like it’s free there. All 20 episodes. I’m accessing through the Philippines because I wanted to make sure I’d get an English interface.

The malaria didn’t come from the beef. Prince didn’t get sick when the rest of the villagers did. Malaria is carried by mosquitoes. Obviously it was used as a plot device to separate Prince and Fah. I agree that it was poorly executed but this is far from the worst BL I’ve ever seen. It’s at least average, in my opinion.

It was well written and acted, I hope you enjoy it. I just wanted something lighter.

It starts out funny, then turns into melodrama. Even though it’s done well, I certainly wouldn’t have watched it if I knew it was just going to lose the humor halfway through and become all drama. Too heavy.

It’s supposed to be a parody of BL and lakorn tropes, as well as some other cultural references(also anime, hentai, etc.). Similar to YYY. The horse riding scene while they were filming reminded me so much of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I thought it was pretty funny. The characters aren’t as distinctive as YYY, though. Either it’s your cup of tea or it’s not. I grew up on sketch comedy and parodies, so I’m going to hang in there and continue to watch.

There is a big difference between saying not attractive versus calling something unsightly. I’m just going to assume that you used a word you are unfamiliar with improperly and let it go. Please don’t ever call people wobbly or unsightly again, they are insults. Also, queasy means sick to your stomach (nauseated) so it’s not good to apply it to people either. I’m a doctor, and there isn’t any gender that makes me queasy to look at or I wouldn’t be able to do my job. I’m sorry to be so outspoken, but your language came across as a series of micro-aggressions against women so I’m making you aware of it.

Unsightly? That is NOT ok to say about a woman. It’s fine to not be attracted to women, but implying that we are wobbly and unsightly is pretty horrible. And I’ve seen my share of “soft, wobbly” men, so you still haven’t made a valid point beyond insulting women, and insulting gay men by implying they are all repelled by women. Yikes.

I agree with you 100%. They created some great characters and CPs in season 1 then did NOTHING with them in season 2. Like, they purposely separated the ones with the best chemistry and did very little with everyone else. What were we even watching? Very disappointing.

It’s a prequel. They are setting up for the actual series. Although I’m not sure who is going to watch it after this mess.

WHY does the manipulative, unpleasant Ji Seok get so much screen time, and the two handsome ML’s are hardly seen? Why is there so much classroom and so little judo? This is a total waste of money and time! I am aware that it’s a prequel but it still could have been so much better than this boring slog through yet another high school romance. Ugh.

I was shocked by Strong’s nose. He definitely had surgery since he was in What The Duck.

There are better English subtitles on YouTube now, Wondery Pops channel. I think they are the actual production company so their subs are different than Line TV and actually make sense most of the time.

Actually, it does make sense if you look at it from the standpoint of Youngwoo being humiliated by the veteran actor and so he made it his goal to dominate him or humiliate him back. He literally beat Jae Ha at his own game.

The ending isn’t actually sad as long as you don’t expect the two ML’s to end up together.
