I didn’t like Igeon at the beginning but after these new episodes, if I were her I would choose him. I think…
Ooh I actually forgot about him but he seems like a great choice, too! With the previous seasons I never cared for most of the guys except maybe 1 or 2 but this season I do feel like most of the guys are great choices.
If you were Goeun, who would you leave Inferno with? And why? 🫶🏻
I didn’t like Igeon at the beginning but after these new episodes, if I were her I would choose him. I think she has the best chemistry with him. While sungmin seems like a “safe” choice, I feel like I’d be drained by how much he wants to be glued to her, talk to her and lowkey control what she does on her paradise date with others. Hyeonwoo was cute but I feel like he did kinda “love bomb” her a little too much during their date and I would feel uncomfortable getting treated like that by someone I barely know.
Now if I were able to choose any of the guys from this show I’d probably choose Sunghun or Subeen LOL.
I really love how Heesun is finally having her time to shine! She is genuinely the most respectful girl, so pretty,…
I haven’t caught up with the new episodes but I agree with everything you’ve said, especially about Heesun, Subeen, Mina Sue, Jaejin’s idealizing, and Goeun and her harem (jk but for real I agree with everything to a T!).
I have also been watching Speed & Love (C-drama) and finishing up season 1 of The Muse of Section E (Filipino drama). Normally I like to wait until dramas are finished to watch them hence why I’m watching these from 2025.
Hey guys wht do u think about go eun and her 3 man which one r u rooting for and no one is talking about new guy…
I’m rooting for her and Hyeonwoo. In my opinion he seems like the best guy for her. Something about I Geon feels off to me. Also for my taste he might be a little too old for her. I’ve also dated guys I Geon age in the last few years and a lot of them that are single his age are immature or not ready to be serious unfortunately lol. But maybe that’s just me projecting.
Wasn't I Geon a game changer that didn't quite make it to the island in one of the past seasons? I was surprised…
Lowkey disagree about Subeen but I’m glad I’m not the only one that had a weird feeling about Go Eun and I Geon’s date. Like I’m still on episode 6 but, even though their chemistry was insane, I honestly just felt red flags / alarms blaring regarding I Geon (but I can’t figure out why). Idk. I’m wary of him lol.
No hate but maybe d yellow dress, with the amazing view, if u get what I mean. Also it can be d carefree attitude,…
Girl, LOL. Korean men are still men. Heck some of them are as bad if not worse than foreign men (ie read their molka and s*x abuse scandals). Just because their culture as a whole is still more “conservative” doesn’t mean the men aren’t going to be attracted to cleavage/body. They’re still visual creatures.
Hi, I haven’t watched this adaptation yet (it’s one of the few I have yet to watch, but I am planning to), but I believe it might’ve seemed shorter and with parts of the manga changed because this was filmed while the manga was still being drawn and published? Yes the manga started being published in 1990-1991 and this drama in 1996 but from what I’ve read, the manga was still having volumes come out until the author’s death in 1999 and the story as we all know was never finished by her. Also, I read somewhere that the author herself helped pick out the cast for this drama, so I’m assuming she also knew about the script? I feel like if there were any major changes, it might’ve been either because of the timing of it being released, and/or possibly even approved by Kaoru Tada.
I’ve seen a lot of the people that have rated this drama poorly or just didn’t like it say that it was “too slow/boring especially main pairing-wise” or that it “focused too much on side characters & court politics”. idk if it’s because I’ve been on a drama slump, if it was because I’m older and just got out of a very long term relationship, but I found this drama very realistic in those ways, and I actually personally enjoyed the chemistry & slow burn romance of the main pairing. I also found the side plots, court/palace politics, etc. to, again, be quite realistic and intriguing…
how long did it take everyone to get into this drama? I'm two episodes in and I'm bored. Granted this genre usually…
I was intrigued because of episode one so I continued watching. then from episode 2 until maybe 10-12 I was just watching to watch & because I liked some of the characters. but I didn’t get fully hooked until about episode 12 or so. and then I became addicted to the story and characters and finished it a lot faster lol
Many people here and on Twitter seem to be upset with this season and Sian's finale pick, but I liked it. I think…
Best comment after the finale so far and pretty much agree with everything you’ve said. I don’t normally comment here but even though I was a hardcore Theo supporter during the first half and even lowkey disliked Junseo-Sian at first, they truly have the most electrifying chemistry and I can’t blame them for choosing each other. Towards the end I was starting to think they make a really nice couple. I also felt something was off about Jeongsu and found myself somewhat skipping his scenes with Sian in those last 2 episodes, he was definitely giving controlling vibes when, like you said, he was nice and somewhat flirty to multiple girls for like half of the show lol. Also I now think Theo should be with someone that loves him as much as he loves them.
finally getting to complete this now that I'm home sick. started to watch it when it first came out in 2023, and got almost halfway through, before getting to start to continue it recently. it just gets better and better, and now I'm on episode 23 and I don't want to finish it 😭 (also not ready to get my heart shattered, if the spoilers I've come across are any indication)
I like that they seemed to change up a few things from Girls Planet, but it's still really just a Produce 101 reboot... Cringe, favoritism, and horrible editing included...
Current favorite trainees after episode 1: Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Gyu Vin, Hui, Ollie, Jay, Sung Han Bin, and Haruto; and possibly the rest of the Yuehua boys (K and G), Hiroto, Takuto, and Park Gun Wool.
Mingee and Subeen go to paradise together and she likes him a bit.
Mina Sue wants to get closer to Sunghun and is jealous.
Jooyoung and Jaejin; Igeon and Go Eun have really good chemistry.
Now if I were able to choose any of the guys from this show I’d probably choose Sunghun or Subeen LOL.
