I got to agree with you 100% though I have been loving this drama, I am also disappointed with the poor writing of the side characters as well as the stupid extra female character introduced in the drama to pair up with Soo Hyun. It doesn't matter how good the story is but I am always gonna think how they removed that storyline from the drama whenever someone talks about it.

Even I am upset that the BL storyline was removed so to be able to air it on cable but the thing is the bl storyline is very minor in the original story which has been shown in like last 30% of the webtoon is what I read, even though it involves one of the lead trio, i. e. Soo Hyun. It's obvious for us to be disappointed but considering the Knetz's mindset and the limits of the Kdrama industry, I think it's understandable.

Ummm I agree entirely with the fact that the female characters other than SoBin have been poorly written even Chan Ki 's character got no depth but then again the drama is all about the developing relationship between the lead trio, i.e. Yeo Jun, Soo Hyun and So Bin and hence the focus is on them because the drama is 12 episode anyways.

Maturity is when you realise that the world has run out of ideas when it comes to making a romcom and coming of age story. What matters is the way of representation and the kind of performance, which decides whether something stands out or not. I am done with the 1st half of the drama and I with 100% confidence wanna state that this is actually very different from others even if the storyline is not something very new. Let me cite my reasons: 1) The very rare trio chemistry between Park Ji Hoon, Bae In Hyuk and Kang Min Ah 2) Warm & slow romance between Park Ji Hoon and Kang Min Ah 3) Beautiful and unique brotherly relationship between Park Ji Hoon and Bae In Hyuk 4) Deep and meaningful storyline with plenty of things to learn from and analyze about 5) Definitely a different kinfa campus story 6) Less familiar cast yet nice performance 7) Heart-touching OSTs plus bg scores 8) Lastly, this is more of a healing friendship story.
