Ummm I agree entirely with the fact that the female characters other than SoBin have been poorly written even Chan Ki 's character got no depth but then again the drama is all about the developing relationship between the lead trio, i.e. Yeo Jun, Soo Hyun and So Bin and hence the focus is on them because the drama is 12 episode anyways.

Maturity is when you realise that the world has run out of ideas when it comes to making a romcom and coming of age story. What matters is the way of representation and the kind of performance, which decides whether something stands out or not. I am done with the 1st half of the drama and I with 100% confidence wanna state that this is actually very different from others even if the storyline is not something very new. Let me cite my reasons: 1) The very rare trio chemistry between Park Ji Hoon, Bae In Hyuk and Kang Min Ah 2) Warm & slow romance between Park Ji Hoon and Kang Min Ah 3) Beautiful and unique brotherly relationship between Park Ji Hoon and Bae In Hyuk 4) Deep and meaningful storyline with plenty of things to learn from and analyze about 5) Definitely a different kinfa campus story 6) Less familiar cast yet nice performance 7) Heart-touching OSTs plus bg scores 8) Lastly, this is more of a healing friendship story.

2 mins silence for people who are still crying about main leads not kissing on-screen. If kissing and intimacy are factors to judge a couple's chemistry and a drama's quality, I am not sorry to tell that you should go start studying in elementary may be?

Don't believe in people for whom plenty of romance between the leads, intimate scenes and kisses matter more than the quality of the drama. It's clearly visible how the drama went down hill starting from it's interval but let's not discredit how beautiful and how good it was till the ending of the 1st half. Imma simp for the 1st half always and just because of that I will say that this drama is not a waste of time at all. People thrashing the entire thing are the ones who love trashy, cringey and cliche romcoms with the same old usual stuffs. Don't believe in reviews that discredit the entire work because of their disappointment in one particular thing.

Yes yes... I understood what you are trying to convey. I too loved it till 8th but with the major revelation about Ba Wu, it actually became typicall but for me its still bearable given it continued to show the warm slowburn romance between the leads.

I agree with your review to a great extent but I think it's worth a one time watch. You giving 6.5 itself tells it's at least a moderately average drama. I would give a 7 though. Star ratings are not a small deal so unless something is below 4/10, it's at least a good watch not bad and unworthy.

My goodness! Some of you have put things in better words v and better analysis that you guys should write your own review for better understanding of people T T. I totally agree with you. Even with the conversation with Bas, it was mentioned as cheating bit following conversation made it a lot clearer. I am so happy it is a very reasonable ending.

Totally agree with your second paragraph. It's still a sequel of an existing story. Comparison is actually not required, rather we can continue to have the same nostalgia. What we should be comparing is, how the parallels were dawn and contradictions were framed between 2 seasons. What disturbs me is people saying IPYTM ruined ITSAY because of a realistic approach but I think it's the people who feel triggered and threatened after seeing their own real reflection through this season. Haha
