I don't think you're in the minority at all, it's definitely a conversation many people have had about queer representation through media (and even cultural representation too ^^). I also agree with @stayfantasizing in which I don't mind about the sexuality of the actors in series, but it would be nice to see more LGBTQIA+ actors cast in general in queer shows.
Also, something that might make you feel better! The director for this show, P'Jojo, is openly gay. If you look up his profile on here, it says that he wanted to be able to direct stories that are based on his experiences and the experiences of people in the queer community. If I remember correctly, a few of the characters and some of the story line is inspired by experiences real queer people (P'Aof is also in the cast and crew as a producer, and he's also openly gay; I didn't know he had a hand in the show until midway through airing and was so surprised, I love his shows a lot xD).
I've read a few comments on here as the show was airing of people saying that they can relate to these stories and that the representation of the queer community is quite authentic (obviously not for everybody, everyone experiences different things, but I do remember seeing these comments around!) I hope that this makes you feel a little better!☺️
Every episode gets even better. Mhok and Day are so cute together, and Jimmy and Sea are doing a fantastic job at bringing their characters to life. Their acting is off the charts and their chemistry is insane - I can't get over how AMAZING this show is!! Mhok putting the book for Day to find had me in tears. The way Day's face lit up when he realised he found it with Mhok just watching on with a smile - so heartwarming! 🥹🖤
8.4 to 8.0? This rating is rigged, this show deserves so much higher than what it has been given! 😔 Hoping that the rating increases, because this is a piece of art. JimmySea are killing the game with their chemistry and play their roles so well. P'Aof is a genius, and the production is fantastic. Wish that I could watch the entire drama rn - waiting a week to see the next ep is already proving to be so hard with this show 🖤
