I actually got into kdramas because of this show. I was at my brothers house and he had it on. I used to make fun of him for watching them, but I couldn’t help but to watch it here and there because it was on. for me, it’s the funniest drama I’ve ever watched. everyone’s different though. maybe try not to think of how many episodes. we watch them to enjoy them right? not blaze through them. I think I’m gonna rewatch it now. give it a shot! btw I dropped the 2nd one.
Is there a need to watch Welcome to Waikiki 1 first before 2? 1 is too long and I a'int got no time.
I don’t know if you’ve already watched it, but you don’t need to watch the 1st. However, it’s one of the funniest dramas I’ve seen. the second doesn’t hold a candle to it
"male haircut" "normal hair" wow really explains your regressive mentality
you’re honestly projecting a lot here over a haircut 😂 it must be so exhausting being so hateful, and that’s my opinion as a Middle Aged woman, not a young person. There are things I may not understand, but it’s not for me to understand. we all have our own lives to live. we are only responsible for ourselves in our life journey. let people be whoever they are, so long as they’re not hurting anyone. life’s too short to be so caught up on something to the point where you rage about a haircut in a drama, and twist it to mean something that doesn’t even exist in this storyline.
This show has a high rating, but every review a read is quite low. The comments don’t seem that promising either, but the concept of this drama sounds interesting so I’m going to give it a go anyhow
I don’t really care for political dramas as a genre, but this one was pretty good. There are some moments that…
However, some things irked me. It seems neither side thought about their children in all of this. The prime ministers pursuit of political control left her daughter without both of her parents. The President, in pursuit of a “better korea,” did so many bad things that left his wife and son alone to handle the aftermath of his actions. He weeded out a few political candidates, lawmakers, and a corporation as though there aren’t any more corrupted people to take their place. I felt he had good intentions, but ultimately died a fool.
I know these things are essential for the drama. I can’t help to think of it while watching though.
I don’t really care for political dramas as a genre, but this one was pretty good. There are some moments that are touch and go for me. I did find myself invested in seeing how reach side was going to 1 up each other. overall, it was a good drama
For me it’s not “the worst” but I am quite surprised by this 8.8 rating. I guess this particular show just…
I can agree with that. A lot of people here aren’t really up for discussions different opinions, and they’re quick to attack. I didn’t like the drama either, and that should be okay to say. Other people who feel the same may also want to discuss it.
Anyway, I’m not worried about it either. Just thought it was crazy how those people jumped on you for sharing your experience.
I love action/thriller korean dramas and this is the worst action I have ever seen.It is a low quality drama and…
For me it’s not “the worst” but I am quite surprised by this 8.8 rating. I guess this particular show just wasn’t for me. It was alright, but I’m not excited to watch season 2. I seem to be in the minority with that, but thats okay. I still like to read others experiences, and I’m glad others enjoyed it. it just missed the mark for me
I never expected to like this drama. It’s something I picked to pass the time until I found something “better.” This became the drama I wanted to watch nightly. It was filled with so much emotion, and conveyed with superb acting that portrayed those feelings perfectly. Heartfelt yet heartbreaking. Love, betrayal, plot twist, tragedy. I just cannot believe I liked this drama so much.
I made it to episode 9 before I had to call it quits, which is crazy. Up until then I thought “this may be one of the best I’ve watched” it just became too much and I couldn’t keep up with it. maybe if I powered through, I would have found it interesting again.
it will always be one of my favorites. maybe it’s because it’s the first drama I watched airing. I thought it was sweet. I’ve rewatched a couple of times since then.
a second season after 5 years? I’m surprised! I just revisited this drama after dropping it on the second episode.(I think I wasn’t in the headspace for it. Nothing wrong with it), because i thoroughly enjoyed it this time around. Cool! I guess I watched it at the right time.
it’s hard to find 30 minute dramas. I like them, because it’s quick and easy to work into my day. initially, I stopped watching this years ago. for some reason, I recently gave it another chance. I can’t believe I ever dropped it. It was such a nice watch. I looked forward to it. just a wholesome drama.
I liked this drama. In Ho was one of my most hated kdrama characters. I really despised that man. His character was played well, and the actor was really able to capture what a sack of garbage he was. A++ I felt like the ending was pretty realistic. I liked that it chose to end it that way.
I am apparently in the minority, but I looked forward to watching this every day.
stop being so bitter. be happy. life is short.

at least the OST was decent.
