Technically it's only 2.5 episodes, haha. They play quite a few games, but I thought they were really fun here. The Shinhwa guys as well. Hyesung is so delightfully awkward, and the others are just dorks. XD

Also I just watched "I Hear Your Voice"... and I just don't know what my feelings are doing. Ahh Park Soo Ha ;~;

That's the only thing I'm worried about with the extension, haha ^_^; But let's have faith in the writers, they did well until now :) And I'll definitely be watching today, so excited!

As for SHINee shows.. my absolute favourite of theirs has gotta be Hello Baby, it's fantastic. But it's 13 episodes, so maybe a bit long. XD They're also great on Shinhwa Broadcast (episodes 12-14), and I loved their episodes on Beatles Code as well. :) If you want me to, I can send you the links.~

It's impossible not to get obsessed over this show ;) But I can't wait for tomorrow, when I can finally watch this week's episodes, haha. Also, did you hear about the extension? 1 more week of LJS and I Hear Your Voice goodies!

If you want some recs on SHINee variety shows, you can always ask me~ I haven't seen everything, but I've seen a fair few episodes, and I just love them. XD So yeah, if you ever feel the need, feel free to ask for recs. :)

Haha, I liked it. Sadly kebabs aren't as cheap here in the Netherlands, sadface!

Oh dear, that does seem awkward ^_^; I haven't watched enough Dutch movies to make an honest judgement, but in those I've seen I just find the acting stoic and unfeeling; not to mention often little depth in the plot and it seems overly erotic. Maybe I just saw the wrong movies. :P

Yep, can't wait for the new eps :D Though I only watch when both are released, so I'll only see it on Friday, but I'm super curious!

SHINee is super super adorable~ Glad you agree. I really like them on variety shows too, they just seem like great guys. :)

No probs :) Now I probably will be late with my reply, as I'm going to meet up with a friend for 3 days, so~

I tried Turkish food when I was studying in Vienna :') Seriously, the kebabs were life savers! You got tons of meat+tomato+lettuce+sauce on this huge kind of bread, that was more than enough for dinner... and it was only 3 Euros. Really tasty~

Ahh I see. I was just wondering if they somehow broadcasted Dutch movies in Finland. A Slovenian friend of mine mentioned they broadcast Dutch movies on the television there and the thought blows my mind a bit. (Most Dutch movies aren't that good XD) But good luck to your friend studying Dutch!

Probably been in hiding somewhere. Ahh Min Gook (?) is a bastard. Maybe there were some complications with his hand and he couldn't kill HyeSung for that reason? I mean, it's unlikely he went to the hospital..!

..changes in the dialects and languages, but like said, if you're not familiar with one of them, I think it'd be very difficult to tell them apart. But do you hear a lot of Dutch on tv then? Somehow that surprises me :')

I just think amnesia is *such* a cop-out. I'd have liked it better if he had kept his memory and would have to properly deal with the consequences of his actions?? I am curious about what he's going to remember, though, and I wonder if his memory loss is somehow caused by Min Gook as well..

But.. aish, I can't remember his name, Min Gook/Jung Kook seems wonky enough to cut off his hand just for revenge. Seems like he's got nothing else to live for, and that's always kind of terrifying.. but ugh! Definitely should've waited until it'd finished airing ;~;

I think Mickey Mouse just serves Turkish food, seems like just a random snackbar. But the name is genius :')

Tbh, some people get really upset when you use Holland, but most people are totally fine with it. So just use whatever you feel comfortable with. I do generally use the Netherlands, but sometimes I'm lazy and it's just so much easier to type Holland XD

I don't think you really hear the differences if you don't speak any of the languages, as the sounds used in all of these languages and dialects are super similar. The differences are caused by things as consonant shifts, and contact with other languages. Swiss German for instance sounds really weird to most people, but it's actually quite similar to medieval German in pronunciation. It's just these little things, like when do you say "Appel" and when do you say "Apfel", do you say "maken" or "machen", that started off the..

Omg, I'm not sure I like this turn of events in I Hear Your Voice o.O Why did Soo Ha have to lose his memory, aish. I suspected Joon Kook might be alive from the start, it'd be too easy a way for him to go. But argh! I should've waited till this drama had finished airing, the suspense is killing me ;~;

..terms can and are used simultaneously. Not everyone agrees, but what can you do about it. Language and culture are dynamic after all, and so a word's meaning is never static and can change over time. So short answer: yes, the Netherlands is also called Holland.

Dutch and German *are* similar. The languages have the same roots, and when you compare older Dutch and German it's especially clear: older Dutch still uses cases e.g., like German does too. But, linguistically, both languages have developed differently. I won't bore you with the details XD So yes, the languages are very similar, but that's also partly why it's tricky - you assume, as a Dutchie, that German is easy, but you make very many 'Dutch' mistakes. Germans tend to think that's cute, though, except in business settings. :P I used to think the language was very beautiful, but now.. I'm not so sure. xD

I've never been to Hamburg before either, but friends of mine have and they say it's lovely. Plus we're going to see the Tarzan and Lion King musicals there, and there's a restaurant called "Mickey Mouse" near our restaurant. Disney + musicals make for a very good holiday, imo ;)

Yep, I'm a Dutchie. :) Amsterdam is quite cool, but my favourite city is Utrecht.. I'm probably biased, I grew up in the neighbourhood :P

Ah, the old Netherlands vs. Holland debate. Here's the thing: the Netherlands consists of 12 provinces, two of which are called North & South Holland. Technically only these 2 provinces can be called "Holland" (they're important provinces though, cities like Amsterdam (capital) and The Hague (where the government resides) are located there). But over the years the meaning of "Holland" has also come to represent the whole country. So technically it's incorrect, but both..

It's okay :)

My summer plans aren't very exciting. So far it's still working on the thesis, and meeting up with friends. I'm going to Hamburg with my parents, though, so that should be nice. :) But traveling around Finland sounds really nice too! I've been wanting to visit for years, what I've seen from Finland is really gorgeous. :)

I actually know very well how you feel - I often don't feel like writing back somehow, so my replies sometimes are really late.. especially recently, while I was working on my Bachelor thesis. What a nightmare..

But yes, July 16th it said in the vid, right? Can't wait :)

And ugh Dramacrazy. I'm kind of heartbroken tbh. :( Bit annoying about High Kick!... I think I'm just going to download the eps and subs seperately. It's only 18 short eps, so that should be doable. I don't want to give up on High Kick, I'm enjoying it quite a bit D:

Maybe, maybe. Good luck with studying Korean! I want to do it too, but I decided I should finish university first. :( Well, I should be practically finished with my Bachelor now, then a one year master, and maybe after that I can get started. Wouldn't it be great to be able to watch without subs? Anyway, hwaiting!

And yep, they are both their newest CDs :) The Japanese one has Man In Love on it as well. But omo, another comeback? It looks super cool, and sounds great too. Can't wait :D

My closest irl friend listens to tons of Romanian music (she speaks some of the language now, but definitely didn't before she started listening!), and my other close friends are all into Asia, so we all understand why we're listening to K-pop/J-pop :') But sometimes I just miss being able to understand what I listen to, and then I listen to musicals :)

Haha, it's okay <3 I just found Koi Ni Ochiru Toki and New Challenge so far, so I think I need to search some more, but they sounds good!

I was always a metal/soundtrack/musical girl, never really got into hiphop. My parents were so surprised when I started listening to K-pop, especially because of all the rapping. XD I'll give it a few more tries, it might grow on me. It's just a shame I don't speak Korean, I'm known for listening to songs for lyrics alone, but with Korean that effect is kind of gone, haha :P

Would be nice to see him doing another drama :) I was kind of surprised overall, to see that the cast was made up of so many idols! But the acting was still really decent and the show thoroughly enjoyable. Thankfully it wasn't a disaster like e.g. Nail Shop Paris was. :')

The only Infinite songs I've heard are the ones you recommended so far, so I haven't really listened to any of their albums yet! But I'll start with The First Innovation then, thanks again for the tips! :)

It's the first time I came across a celebrity with the same birthday as me :') And you know, Donghae is kind of cute, so I really quite like it hahaha

Thanks for all the recs! I just watched all the MVs :) Must say I'm not really into hip hop personally, but BTS were definitely best lyrically, imo. Judging by these songs I think I like Infinite best so far. :) Plus, I saw one of the guys from Reply 1997! Never realized the HoYa you mentioned was in Reply 1997.. ahh, he was so good as Jun Hee :) Hard to believe that was his debut role!

But thanks again, when I have more questions I'll definitely ask. So let me start now.. what's your favourite album by Infinite? ;)
