me too! i hate this trope too, just hoping their separation was only for max 15 mins of the episode lol. anyway, from the way the drama has been emphasizing on "being there for each other" as a recurring theme, i really don't think they will let her fight for her dad's case herself (despite the misleading line in the trailer where ra ik says "im sorry i couldn't be here".) otherwise, it would have felt like their development was in vain! (she was there for him unconditionally and now that she needs him i have faith he will too)

that makes alot of sense! i also noticed that he said he'll come back "to her" quickly during the interview so i think its a long distance relationship. my other theory is that this comeback might be their last world tour hence it was so long, and after it wraps he will go back to sena (hoping for >40 min of the episode!!)

Right! I also feel like with their relationship development for 10 episodes it doesn't make sense to have them "break up, go no contact and reconcile at the last minute" really hoping it does not go this route!

aw but i hope they don't spend almost the whole episode on sena and ra ik being apart!!! i want to see them be cute haha

Wow ep 11 was thrilling yet devastating to find out that it was an accident and Hyejoo didn't mean to kill him. But boy was she scary when she started to frame Jaehee and the way she tried to claim innocence? Psychotic!

With the end of the ep and ep 12's preview, i wonder if se na and ra ik are just in a secret relationship as he goes on his world tour?! doesn't make sense that they broke up randomly, they spent 10 episode building up such a solid foundation.

Now that they are dating, i wonder if ra ik remembers that se na was the fan whose mouth he covered in episode 1 lol

I feel like its not youngbin! someone here mentioned that some fans were invited to a filming of a live performance of ra ik (but we haven't seen that yet), and jae hee and young bin were also there. logically it wouldn't be possible if either of them were in jail for the murder (unless its a flashback to old times)

I'm also starting to suspect Hyejoo, since she has the killer tendencies by almost running over ra ik with her car (thats just psychotic!!!). But she seems like she cannot regulate her emotions which would have been difficult to carry out that precise stab. But also, remember the drug that was found in both ra ik and jaehee, It also seems impossible that she could place those substances when she was meeting ra ik at the same time outside. Nevertheless i'm deeply intrigued hahaha

I was half expecting the "painful" secret the CEO said to be that Wooseong actually hated Ra Ik or something shocking along those lines. But it turned out that Wooseong's care for the gold boys and ra ik was so genuine and so sad :( somehow, why does it feel like this truth was worst than if he did detest Ra Ik secretly or something.

One thing i still don't understand though is that what did the other company have to gain by recording what Wooseong said and threatening him with it, if the end goal was to get the boys transferred over? or was it just a false promise (someone please enlighten me i'm so confused)

Same! i don't understand this too, what was the real reason they broke up (she said something to hurt him, but then there was a scene of her pushing his hand away in their apartment?). And did she actually cheat on him based on the photos?

So intrigued by this drama thus far that i went to do some research by rewatching some previews!

in one of the previews, there was a video (i’m guessing ra ik did not disclose this to se na, as she’s seen asking him what else he is not telling her. maybe ra ik is still trying to protect woosung, as it seemed like he was his only genuine friend) of him and woosung fighting in private. from what we’ve seen of ra ik and his band members, he didn’t start fights first. he was provoked by the aggressive one first. hence, it could be a possibility that in private, woosung was problematic and not as sweet as he seemed.

Am i the only one who thought do ra ik was an alias/stage name?! Was quite surprised to find out its actually his legal name LOL

Right?! I saw somewhere that people are suspecting that everything bad happening to do ra ik including the break-ins, stalker fans etc were orchestrated by the company itself - maybe for the same reason that you mentioned here (to keep him from gaining freedom). i realised that the response of security and the manager was always a beat too slow whenever something happened, seems too often to be a coincidence!

Its so sad how his life is constantly in danger :(

i groaned when they introduced the childhood (or more accurately, teenagehood) connection as i was hoping their first meeting would be as a lawyer and suspect when the news of the casting dropped! but i think this is integral to the plot somehow.

i think their love story will develop when ML will inevitably come to lean on FL as she was there for him at his lowest (after getting him out of custody) and then developing feelings for her as the episodes develop, THEN find out afterwards that she's his fan and childhood connection haha (i hope he reunites with his cap)

- i think the FL did follow up on that but it was implied subtly or maybe later they will bring it up again (since she brought up in court that the incident wasnt reported)
- regarding the detective, i think they mentioned he's known to manipulate and twist situations to force the suspect to confess according to the story he wants to spin (like the lawyer that quit on do ra ik, maybe he's also scared of the prosecutor. if the prosecutor has a bad impression then he might not get promoted (we also see a scene of the same sketchy detective sucking up to the prosecutor after). right now, the prosecutor wants ra ik to be found guilty so that the case can be simply wrapped and closed (POOR RA IK). so you are right that their accusations are false :(

Oh yeah! From what i've seen on the previews, the mysterious woman is his ex and they were very much in love until something happened. I like your theory that they have to make some investments to make DRI big, I think this could be possible as they did mention that the other members' contracts were ending (if all their contracts ended = no more gold boys = no more $ i guess?). But I really wonder why they neglected security for ra ik.

I think all the shady things the company is doing will be discovered by se na as she helps him fight for his case!
