It’s giving Hospital Playlist + Resident Playbook so far, and the setting reminds me of 2000’s shows and movies set in New York - a bit drab, bustly, but with its own stories to tell. I love law and crime cases, and the more realistic yet intriguing approach is working for me. I’m interested to see what Yeom Hyeran’s character gets up to, she’s giving the vibe of a woman not to be messed with!
can someone reccomend me an escape room variety show?? i have wached the great escape & girls highschool mystery…
Apartment 404. They form two groups in each episode and try to solve a mystery related to a past event of an apartment. There are spies, cute betrayals, unhingedness, and teamwork.
Agents of Mystery - Lee Hyeri (idol-actor), Kim Dohoon (Moving actor), Karina (idol).
Apartment 404 - Jennie (idol), Lee Jungha (Moving actor), Yeonjun (idol, was in two episodes). And comedians and veteran actors with great personalities!
Just started watching this drama today. But I want someone's opinion on this drama, but no spoilers please!
It's good, I rewatched recently.
The flaws - There were too many characters, and the villains got too much screentime for their backstories near the end so a lot of time was wasted and the pacing felt off because of it, I didn't feel an emotional connection to them anyway. Too much time was spent on the flashbacks (though I understand it was necessary). Too much time spent on romance plots (of the parents).
The good parts - Upstanding characters, especially Heesu. Powers were shown realistically. No cheesy acting. Emotional scenes were good for most of the good guys. I liked the bonding and growth between the parents and kids.
I love Kim Bongseok, and liked Bungaeman's and Jaeman's (Ganghoon's dad) stories. Naju's power was cool, I wish she had more scenes. Han Hyojoo was brilliant in this.
I truthly want to applause the acting, it was simply phenomenal, everyone gave such amazing performances and this…
If I may recommend some of their work I like-
• Park Sunghoon - The Glory, A Kidnapping Day. • Kang Haneul - Forgotten (movie, on Netflix) • Im Siwan - Strangers From Hell, Unlocked (movie, on Netflix), Boyhood. • Park Gyuyoung - Nine Puzzles, I personally enjoyed Celebrity but it’s very hit or miss for most. • Roh Jaewon - Doubt • Park Heesoon - My Name
Other recommendations with the cast - Sweet Home, Misaeng, Deserter Patroller (DP).
Yeah seriously on IMDb the average episodes rating of each season are:Season 1: 8Season 2: 7.5Season 3: 7.8 When…
Oh I don’t disagree with the bleak ending and close to reality part. It’s a sensible ending. It’s the gaps in the story that frustrated me. The presence of the VIPs, the absolute pointlessness of Junho’s mission, Noeul’s agenda of only getting that one guy out and destroying files and records when she could’ve done so much more as an insider, the lack of depth and glimpse into the mind of Inho in the final season when he was so dominant in the second season, and the lack of any sort of character development or degree of unhinge for Minsu all felt a bit diluted. There was too much screentime for stories that ultimately did not matter much. I did enjoy a lot of it though, they did well with Gihun and the mother-son duo, and made good use of Park Sunghoon and Kang Haneul’s acting skills. I enjoyed the baby plot too, it showed the true darkness of the minds of empty-hearted so-called humans like 100 (the old businessman) and his team.

I don’t agree with the taste part as I see most of the commenters and reviewers in this comment section on other thriller comment sections too. Thriller viewers are rating this low because we are used to higher quality and better storytelling, as well as experimental storyline formats in K-thrillers. With shows like Blackout, Family Plan, A Kidnapping Day, Doubt, Death’s Game, Strangers from Hell, Light Shop, Taxi Driver, Deserter Patroller and the like out there, expectations were high especially with this stellar cast, it’s still a K-show whether Netflix global or not. They put all their cards on the freshness of the concept and the anxiety-inducing nature of the games, but had the show suffer on the storytelling front. I’m glad it’s doing well internationally though, it will open up doors for K-stars and make way for more South Korean shows and media.
/j indicates it’s a joke. I see you’ve watched ONE: HSH and I Am A Running Mate. Did you see the comments there (and other recent drama comments) asking if it’s a BL because of “the vibes”, or even one picture from a photoshoot (https://www.instagram.com/p/DKZIYF7zeFc/) or some cast photo? Some even rated them low because they were expecting a BL twist (??). I’m just parodying them because of this photo Netflix posted: https://www.instagram.com/p/DLQ6tqsJViz/ .
Can you give a spoiler about the end? Was it a happy ending? Do you recommend
Not a happy ending per se, but a hopeful ending for the main character and the female lead (no romance, they were just doing well in their own lives). I recommend watching it atleast once if you have time, it was an interesting concept and an enjoyable experience if you love drama, political foul play, and rivalry. For me, the standout performances were Yoon Hyunsoo (Noh Sehoon), Lee Jungsic (Kwak Sanghyun), and Yoon Dogun (Kang Jaewon).
Ugh I'm so disappointed by the comments and reviews. Can't really tell whether the drama is THAT bad or it's just…
Maybe they thought it’ll be like Weak Hero Class (I’m not sure why? Not every school drama needs to be about physical fighting.), whereas all the trailers, posters, and promos gave off the vibe this is more about politics, cliques/popularity contest, and petty drama. More campus drama vibes but with a high school setting. Maybe they went in with completely different expectations.
just saw the episode 1 somewhere thought it was suppose to air tomorrow??
U+ MobileTV releases their episodes at midnight as far as I remember from Night Has Come and Branding In Seongsu days, so when it hits 12am in Korea (00:00 KST) they release the episode. There will be 4 30-minute episodes this week Mon-Thurs if it follows the same pattern as previous shows.
