The article listed the returning “main cast” but it didn’t seem to be from production side (Studio Dragon, YLAB Plex) or the director, so I’m not counting it as official confirmation, the reporter could’ve simply filled in the information. From the main cast, only Hwang Minhyun, Han Jieun, Hong Mingi, Shin Soohyun, and Jeon Soyoung are officially confirmed by their agencies. Cha Woomin’s agency hasn’t confirmed his reprisal, and have added his other two upcoming works to their website but not Study Group 2.

I think some people can’t or don’t want to distinguish between heavy and light watches. Some dramas with romcom are very content-filled and story-heavy, with a lot of plot, side characters, great acting, hilarious moments as well as heartbreaking ones, requiring time and fixed attention, that stay with you for a long time. Examples - Reply 1988, Twinkling Watermelon, Goblin, Hospital Playlist. Other dramas are light and binge-able, you sit down with your food and watch it and smile a lot, maybe watch with your friends for a girls’ night, nothing too upsetting going on, you have fun and then forget about it and think back on the experience in a light, sweet way. Examples - True Beauty, Business Proposal, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Lovely Runner. People want dramas in the second category to be as intense and content-heavy as the first, but some dramas are simply fluffy entertainers for people to watch and de-stress.

I think it’s just graphics art, but to me the guys looked like mashups of actors/idols/models.

That’s true, I wanted more of their dating era, but the push-pull was stressing me out a bit (they kept running away from each other for this and that reason; I enjoy angst and longing but it was stretched out a bit). But their moments together were cute!

It’s a cute, fun, light drama. Drags a bit near the end, could’ve been 8 episodes instead of 10 IMO. I liked episodes 7 and 8 the most.

Girl come on now. That’s how the character is. You don’t have to trash the ML actor to uplift the FL actor. Jisoo’s a decent actor, I like watching her, but let’s not try to drag Seo Inguk?? lol. You’re just inviting more Jisoo hate.

All these baddies yet Park Gyeongnam’s soft, sweet sincerity pulled me the most. Not even fiery red-haired Seo Inguk could pull my heart away from that guy who’s “selling point” is just being sincere in his love.

Can someone correct Cha Woomin’s character name please? It’s Pi Hanul (as in Hanwool) not Hanui. In the subtitles they write it as Pi Han Ul so people read it as Ui, hence the confusion, but it’s UL.

So good! I loved it. The storyline was pretty straightforward, there weren’t many twists. Somewhat dark but not too gory. Things were concluded well and there weren’t many questions left unanswered. Main and side characters were interesting. Ryeoun’s performance was fantastic. I’m glad this was 8 episodes, the story was kept concise, with no room for boredom. Emotional parts were kept short and did not push the actual narrative aside. The science could’ve been explained better, it would make things a little more interesting. But overall, it was a great watch!
