I overlooked the "Slight Comedy" Tag, but man, I really liked the approach. XD The best explanation for this plot was also mentioned in ep1:

"Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot."

Well, if this goes on for 16 eps, it might turn out, the Tag should be changed to "Comedy". ;)

I am rewatching this drama again . I miss the ML in dramas he can sing really well too. Great OST ! The first…
I'm also rewatching it, but unlike you, I liked the 1st 4 episodes back then very much and now as well. Back then, I was really disappointed about the plot jump around the 4th episode. I really like the 70s setting and wished for more.

the last two eps were weird…all of sudden random stuff that didnt matter was put into the plot….like none…
it's kinda weird from the start. The meain leads don't get much screen time. There are many side characters who get too much screentime which doesn't help the story. Currently a fast forward all journalist and fellow female manager scenes.

I rarely rewatch, but from time to time, I do. Especially old shows, with which I started of liking asian dramas. My highlight is Empress Ki which I watched back then when it aired and 9 years later. It was a blast again and didn't age a single day. ^^

Lmao I'm confused if you liked it or not?
I never doubted you. ^^ I also like this kind of shows, but here, I tend to "not liking it" because of the above reasons.

I don't know. It is depressing, because the character are not really likeable and everything sucks for them. Also, the show itself is very quiet. The characters don't really talk much. The story telling is done by the camera and the selected scenes. All it all, it comes down to a slice of life genre. Generally, I like slice of life, but here it's somewhat meaningless because nothing really happens. (And you also don't see that much landscape or mood shots one can enjoy as in j-dramas/anime)

I would tend towards "not liking" but also "somewhat interested".

How the heck are they making dramas this fast? I remember seeing a script reading picture like a month ago....
I doubt all episodes will be available from the start, so they produce like 2-3. Also, the industry is there, which means, all the filmset crew is basically available at will. And if all actors are also available? Let's start now, and not in 3 month? Maybe the actors were also chosen because the availability.

Tags say fast past romance, comments say slow burn...?? Which is it lol ??
was there even romance in the show? didn't remember anything which compares to "Her Private Life" or "Secretery Kim". (it's slow burn with many dumb sidequests in the 1st half. Then i dropped it)

XD I was watching a sageuk before and scrolled through netflix after a long weekend and binge watched 1st 3 eps. Then on monday, I realized I didn't like where it went after this.

I see you didn't like Backstreet Rookie. ^^ I went through it till the end. It was better than this, but also not the best.
If you are in for C-Dramas, I can recommend "Accidentally in Love". I don't like the chinese language, but I was surprised of the show. And it's more a romcom than this. (the good point: there is no toxic ML in there and the FL is a strong one. Also, it's kinda a coming of age theme with university and so on)
On Business Proposal May 3, 2022
This is crap. First few eps were fun, then it went downhill, because the genres were switched. Initially it was comedy, then it went to melodrama.

Can't recommend. It's definitly not a romcom.

Damn, that's a lenghty albeit legitimate wish list... What about the Chinese drama Story of Yanxi Palace? It checks…
I have to try ^^ (but didn't get the time to have a look at 123girls recommendations either ^^)
