Luckily I have cancelled my subscription from Tencent several months ago. I will never go back after this incidents. I just feel bad for those who got trick into buying the VIP subscription. I hope the Chinese gov't will continue to clean up all the bad apples and the bad mangoes.

The government is getting rid of all the anti-fan weibo accounts. It is good for all the artist. Hunan/Mango TV is being investigated because Kris Wu rotted on them. They are getting rid of all the bad mangoes. Hunan TV is next.

What Tencent did is illegal in US which is Bait and Switch. They announced this drama is coming out in 30 days and decided to cancel it 3 days before airing. Tencent We TV in US can be banned doing business in US.

I am glad that I did not buy the VIP pass from Tencent WeTV. I was waiting for Episode 1 and 2 before getting it. For anyone who pay for it just to watch this drama, you should ask for refund. This is a bait and switch again from Tencent.

Just make a reality TV or WebTV show titled Oath of Love with Xiao Zhan and Yang Zi. Hunan TV can keep the drama.

I am not slandering any platform. I am just stating the fact and not creating a fan war. This year Yang Yang has made 3 dramas while Xiao Zhan has only one. Who is Tencent favorite ? Isn't it obvious. A lot of the VIP subscribers are Xiao Zhan fans. Xu Kai and Allen Ren who are not even a brand ambassador have dramas coming out left and right. Tencent is bigger than Alibaba now but they can not do anything with Hunan/Mango TV. What are they afraid of ?

Tencent just clown all international XFX on Oath of Love. Tencent needs international XFX to continue to be a WeTV paid VIP subscribers to support other artists like Yang Yang, Dilraba, Xu Kai, Allen Ren and so on. I hope Xiao Zhan did not sign an exclusive contract with Tencent.

I don't think that is fair to pick on him because he started out as a singer before becoming an actor. That is a form of discrimination.

There are so many singers turn actors in Southeast Asia ( Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hongkong and China ).

One of the famous actor/singer in Hongkong is Andy Lau.
In Taiwan, you have the Fahrenheit group, Shaw Luo, Rainie Yang, F4 ( Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness ,Ken Wu) and so on.
In China, you have Luhan, Kris Wu, Victoria Song, Han Geng and so on.
In Japan, you have Yamapi, Takuya Kimora, Jin Akanishi and so on.
Even in US, Lady Gaga did a movie ( A star is Born ). She is well known as a singer/song writers. As for dancer turn actors, you have Yang Yang and Leo Lunxi ( Ballet Dancer ).

I even attended Jackie Chan concert here is US long time ago in Las Vegas. He is not even a good singer. A lot of the actors in US have a band ( for ex. Keanu Reeves and Johnny Depp).

You can not restrict a person talent. Either they have it or they don't have it.

When you say performing arts that cover singer, dancer and actor. Xiao Zhan is a multi-talented individual. When I first watch Untamed last year, I did not even know that he was a singer. I was very impressed by his acting. I think he deserves an award for portraying WWX. I also like his singing voice, very manly and his pronunciation of English in Faded is Wow.

I hope Xiao Zhan will have lots of TV/movie projects , concerts and TV variety shows.

I have followed several male actors before ( Yang Yang and Dylan Wang ) and they never have any issues with rumors in regards to TV project. Their TV projects always confirmed after real rumors. They have no fake rumors.

As for Wajijiwa, it reminds me so much of SM ( K pop ). SM treats their artists who terminated their contract early by blocking their appearance in TV shows.

As for Jackie Chan, his movie Vanguard did not do well in the Box Office maybe due to the pandemic or because of bad reviews. He has his share of controversies coming from his son that happen several years ago in China.

The Chinese entertainment industries have been using Xiao Zhan to lure investors when promoting new drama because of his oversea popularity. That is why there are so many rumors linking him to up and coming new dramas. Once the investors are on board then they will do a Bait and Switch just like what they did with AT. Xiao Zhan at this stage of his career can pick and choose which drama he wants to participate and who he wants to work with i.e. female lead. He seems to work on dramas that have good story line and quality.
