Yes, it was a real surprised to see which honestly killed my mood. If he plays the role, I deal with it. However, he is just not the way Xie Lian is described. So, are they the officially cast?

LOL what happened to the cast? Was it a rumor? I hope so, because the guy who was listed to play Xie Lian did not match any of his delicate features. He was cute, but he would have been better as a different character. :)

Wth are you talking about? You are so focused on your opinion that you didn't even read my statement to understand what the hell I'm talking about. Did I ever say that every story needs a happy ending???? Please show me where I said this? Life is not a fairy-tale. I don't need you to tell me that. If you read my statement, you will see that I am talking about the drama and the novel. The novel has a happy end, so it is unfair to change the ending. And as someone who loved the novel, I have every right to feel disappointed. What I've come to learn by reading the helpful comments above, since you don't read other's opinions, is that because of China's censorship, HE are not going to be a thing in BL. Now that explanation, I can understand. Saying I'm not going to argue after rude statements is laughable. Next time you read a comment that doesn't favor your opinion, move on. Thanks.

I saw, I wasn't happy about it. Now that I learned HE for BL is not acceptable, it makes sense and it's kinda depressing. I always wondered why The Guardian ended the way it did. The Untamed ended way better but it wasn't the ended we hoped for now it makes sense and it's just sad. :'(

First of all, it's a guessing game that's unnecessary for anyone who did not read the novel. The episode is meant to be opened ended, as in take it as you wish. For all we know, it could be a hallucination. My point is, if BL can not have a happy ending, leave the books alone.

I loved this drama on until the last episode. As someone who read the book, it hurts that the ending was the way it was. NO ONE ask for a guessing game. This is the second time the ending to Priest's novels was change from a happy ending to a sad ending. I will be avoiding Winner is King, because y'all writers can't get the hell right and I don't trust y'all.

Yup, we have a loong way to go for the exciting stuff to show in 2D. Almost like MDZS, where we are waiting for the rest of the Doughua, but got the drama. We will probably watch this live action before the doughua is complete. lol

the studios Bilibili that produces the doughua have played with BL before. So when you watch the first season of the anime, it's pretty much in line with the story and how the two came to meet. So it's too early to call. We will know next season if it's going all the way with BL.
