K-dramas don't have the same government restrictions which is wonderful. I read somewhere that from winter to spring they focus on historical drama. So there is like a window for genres that airs.

Me too. I'm laughing, but the disappointment is real. When they were casting Lan Zhan, one of the casting directors said something in the lines of that she feared no one could play him because of his beauty. Then WYibo walked in. That's how I feel about both Hua Cheng and Xie Lian. I don't think the casting is the right fit, but I hope they can act, and I won't suffer from second-hand embarrassment.
