i wish they tagged these dramas for sa cause you start watching it and then get to know it.. it's honestly a waste…
I know what you mean. This drama in particular is tagged for SA though, but it's a spoiler tag so it's hidden. If you go to the Tags section on this page, there's "Vote tags" link. There you will see a lot of spoiler tags. This can be applied to all titles, spoiler tags aren't directly visible on the page.
found myself losing interest to continue watching when i know how this will endwhats stopping them from giving…
No clue. But I think it's still worth watching if only up until ep 11 (inclusive). Ep 12 is like it's from another story. They did an open ending type thing and now everyone's confused.
You're right. Unfortunately, some Shrimps do not agree with you. They are too involved in the bullying to care…
What is TDU? Also, I spotted Liz lying about me again. She said I'm the fan of those BL actors who are mostly failures and that I'm jealous of XZ's fame or something. Like really, couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm so annoyed at Liz and every other idiotic Shrimp who thinks XZ is the pinnacle of everything. He's just a talented guy? Among other talented folks. I'm not jealous at all, au contraire. I think fame is a bad thing to have. All things considered. Also, no they didn't give a source for the debunking, they just insisted it's been debunked.
Edit: Is TDU = Ten Days Ultimatum? I just looked at alternative titles on this drama. lol Yeah, I think it's an assemble cast as well. We shall see how it is. Soon.
Your link is just repeating one of the oldest anti-Xiao Zhan talking points—a narrative that's been circulating…
False actually, Liz. I'm not dying of jealousy at all. And for the record, Xiao Zhan has a successful BL/bromance work as well. It's called The Untamed. I'm sure you've heard of it.
As for you lying through your ass about the 227 Incident, shame on you. I have it on a good source that y'all are just lying about causing AO3 to be banned in China. Most fandoms might not be so powerful, but XFX certainly is. Enough to ban an entire site due to reporting it to the powers that be.
But why lie? Only not to admit to yourself that XFX almost destroyed their own idol's career over a fanfic? LOL get some balls and face the truth instead.
And stop making up lies about me. I'm a fan of many actors and actresses, BL, GL, het, whatever. But I'm never jealous of someone's fame. Do you know why? It's fame. I don't think it's such a quality thing to have in the first place. So, there you have it. Straight from the horse's mouth (aka me).
If you'd stop lying through your teeth, then maybe we could actually see eye to eye in some regards. But alas, I don't think you have a truth-telling bone in your body, not a single one.
But what does that ending mean? Are they alive at the end? I'm so confused.
The back in time narrative doesn't make sense at all to me. I think they just made the wish and then got out of there before it was too late. But I agree, the ending is too confusing still. I wish we had a proper ending, but they got a bit lazy by the end. It'll remain an 8.5 for me. It's a memorable drama, but the ending makes me not want to give it higher scores. Thanks for replying!
You're right. Unfortunately, some Shrimps do not agree with you. They are too involved in the bullying to care…
Well, I was inclined to believe them just because. Liz said they did not cause AO3 to be banned in China. They said the Chinese gov. already was planning to ban AO3 and that a fandom isn't so powerful as to ban a website in China.
This is Liz's first comment and then I commented "like really?? wow" and then it all devolved into some other stuff. Someone even asked me if I'd be okay with Wang Yi Bo being portrayed as transgender in a fanfic (but they confused cross-dressing with trans lol) since I'm a semi-turtle. And I said I'd have no problem with that because I don't see Wang Yi Bo as a top only, like part of the YiZhan fandom does. And there's nothing wrong with BJYX either? It's just up to interpretation of every fan (whether BJYX, ZSWW or LSFY). But I didn't say it in so many words.
Thing is, I get it that they think a mirror actually shows them to be the culprit in the AO3 ban aka 227 Incident. But I mostly agreed to keep the peace. I also don't know much about that incident, so my opinion is easily swayed. But I understand they're lying for a good reason. They don't want to be seen as the fandom who almost destroyed their own idol's career. That's too bad though. They don't much have a leg to stand on, and so lying to twist the historical facts to newbies is all they can do.
8.5, not forgettable to me, also the ending is confusing so the rating dropped a bit from 9 to 8.5. Uhm, if someone knows what the ending was about, I'm considering getting it back up to 9...
Shrimpy, take a chill pill. No one is saying they're an anti. I'm actually Xiao Zhan's casual fan.I'm a casual…
I don't know about WYB's parents or MTJJ accepting that, but turtles will. Some turtles (the BJYX only kind) see WYB as the top only, but I don't. So, there's that.
Shrimpy, take a chill pill. No one is saying they're an anti. I'm actually Xiao Zhan's casual fan.I'm a casual…
I see. Thanks for explaining it to me. I had no idea. In my mind, I thought the scandal got so big that the Chinese gov had to take action. But it makes sense now that XFX had nothing to do with China banning AO3.
And you're right! I see Mandarin language fics posted on AO3 all the time. Even if they have to go through a VPN, the site is still accessible. I'm glad for that and I hope this way of accessing it never goes away.
Also, I know what fic you're talking about. I tried reading it with machine translation as it's in Mandarin. I didn't get very far because of the bad translation. But the fic itself... well, yes, XZ is cross-dressing in that one for sure. Well, as a semi-turtle, that doesn't bother me much. Unfortunately there are worse fics of YiZhan out there. :(
Although I guess XFX are seeing Xiao Zhan as he is, and not as some make-believe story. RPF is rude for this reason, that they take someone's name and public persona and then run with it. Personally I don't see anything wrong with cross-dressing. But then again I'm part of the LGBT community, so my views on that are rather relaxed lol
Shrimpy, take a chill pill. No one is saying they're an anti. I'm actually Xiao Zhan's casual fan.I'm a casual…
Oh so you're saying XFX is not at fault for China banning AO3? Then who reported AO3 to the Chinese gov? We might never know, considering no one is willing to claim that they did apparently.
That's hilarious! Also, I had an altercation with Liz last year on XZ's page on here... not pleasant to say the…
I don't really care about Tian Xu Ning though. I loved Revenged Love, but I'm not so conceited as to believe one good drama will propel someone in their acting career. I think he's doing just fine? Idk, I haven't been following him. I have the photo on my account because I like Revenged Love. It was a good BL, probably one of the best. Chinese BL in general seems to be doing well, now. I have a few favorites so far and they keep coming and releasing good works, so I'm happy.
I could whip up a list of my faves, if you're so curious about them. My Chinese faves specifically are Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo. I'm a semi-turtle, meaning I kind of ship them. They look good together. :) For this reason, I don't think we'll see eye to eye on a lot of things. Afaik XFX and Turtles don't have the best track for getting along. I also like co-actor male lead Zi Yu from Revenged Love but I don't track his movements either. I only know of some edits of his dancing on TikTok and such. Nothing much, basically.
I don't think Kokuto was wrong to point out the billing order on this project. Sure, now the other actors might be in support roles on here and that might be the right billing order. But I haven't read the comments y'all and Kokuto were making since the beginning. I went through comments from the most recent ones to the past and didn't get very far before getting bored. You guys sure wrote a lot!
As for shipping YiZhan, I have my own reasons for doing this. Lately (a year or so), I've been into reading RPF and my go-to fics are YiZhan ones, and some others. It's a harmless hobby, I should say. I don't pretend that they have a real relationship or that they even interact with each other anymore. It's sad how their friendship was ended right at the 227 Incident. I think that was unfortunate for Xiao Zhan btw. He didn't deserve all that. I'm glad he's now back on track and working towards getting even more recognized by directors and the public as a good actor.
I don't follow closely anyone's movements btw. Any one actor as such. I used to follow some Thai actors like 2 years ago and that didn't go well, so I decided not to look into actor's private lives or even their public ones too much. I'm happy to just watch their works and admire them from afar. In my experience, as soon as you get too close to them, their veneer starts chipping away and so, they become disappointments.
Although I'm not so fast as to say this might happen with Xiao Zhan. But recently, an actor from Alice in Borderland, a Japanese drama I liked a lot, was revealed to be a girlfriend beater. He beat his then girlfriend and for that he won't even get proper punishment as Japan doesn't really care about violence against women. My favorite drama was ruined because of that guy. And a favorite ship too, involving his character in that drama with another character. It is what it is. For this reason, I want nothing to do with actors anymore. Although I can't help being a fan of a few still. Most notably, Yamazaki Kento, Lee Joon Gi and Park Ji Hoon. I discovered the last two this year. I love them, they look so good and their dramas are my fave too.
But enough about other actors. I'm a fan of multiple people and also a multi-shipper. If I ship a pairing it's because I found their chemistry really good. So, pardon me, if I continue to ship YiZhan. I don't read much fanfic right now and I know reading RPF isn't such a great idea, but sometimes a story is nice to read. Matters not its origins.
See you around? I was afraid you'd cast me away because I'm a semi-turtle. Well, you might still do this. But the YiZhan fan is as much a fan of XZ as the XFX fan. At least in my eyes. I hope you understand. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Which artists are you talking about? Also, I don't care if you don't remember me.
The people I interacted with on this page are not XZ haters. At this point, you yourself might be the XZ hater. Since you do nothing but bring down his image with your whining.
