Well yeah that's the exact scene I was talking about that was bad. I am aware Chi Cheng is trash. If Wu Suo Wei finds about his past though, do you think he'll forgive him? I highly doubt it. Dude, I watched the series already. If you haven't been paying attention to the screen while you were watching it, that's no issue of mine. You're too blindsided by Fan Xiao's face card probably, to understand that he's a rapist. And a serial rapist at that. It wasn't a one time occurrence.

Either way, he's not a character that can be redeemed in any way. In fact, he deserves life in prison or even the death penalty. And for You Shu Lang to never interact with him again. What love? What romance? It's all abuse. None of this behavior would fly irl (unless you're fucked in the head). And you know very well you're triggered by what I'm saying and keep replying to me because maybe you condone rape? If not irl, then definitely in fiction.

If you deny this happened, at least take one look at yourself. What kind of person are you becoming by excusing Fan Xiao's actions? You Shu Lang was coerced into staying in Fan Xiao's house. He didn't go there willingly. And then afterwards, Fan Xiao dared lay his hands on him even though You Shu Lang was mentally checking out.

It doesn't take even one braincell to figure this out. But you keep insisting it's not rape. Well, let this type of relationship find you. Lets see how you like it when you find a Fan Xiao for yourself. Or am I to believe that you're more like Fan Xiao? Give me your police record fast. I was sure you guys glossed over that fact easily because the rape is filmed in an aesthetic montage type thing and also, the acting wasn't forceful or anything. BUT the fact of the matter is, he did rape him.

Think about real life. Would you personally forgive your rapist and try to have a relationship with him again? Would you think the rapist can be redeemed and still continue a relationship with the victim? I'm sorry, this has to be said. FX's behavior wouldn't fly irl. I am aware drama land doesn't operate under the same assumptions, but in that case, don't call this a masterpiece either? If all you took from it is that now you're romanticizing rape and abuse then you really need therapy yourself. Not only everyone in this series, but the viewers also, need therapy.

You do realize Fan Xiao repeatedly raped You Shu Lang. Have we been watching the same series? Are you sure there is love between them considering all this? LOL, you must be out of your mind then.

So I had to rectify my score for this one from a 9 to a 8.5. It doesn't deserve more than this.
People who are calling this a "masterpiece" with 10s across the board... have you actually seen the drama? Because you can't call any of that as romantic or what have you.

This drama quickly rose to the top of my "best BLs of all time" list. I haven't seen some other good ones like Khemjira yet, but I doubt it'll be the same as this one. It doesn't have to be the same either. It just has to be better and few series can achieve this tbh
