if i remember correctly, they didn't have sex when they were in college according tot he novel.
that's the thing with censorship in China. they have to distort the drama greatly for it to meet the regulations and that damages the drama greatly.

Like she says she is shy and they are not married and all, but in the novel she is anything but shy! but the novel elaborately depicts the intimate scenes.In the drama, they CAN'T, or else the drama would be banned

Def a delightful and pleasant drama! the chemistry is just so beautiful, even though the closure is minimum but you can feel their LOVE. Highly recommended
