Cliche rom-com, but the chemistry is Amazing!
This drama is the exact definition of drama Cliche; a cold, handsome, wealthy boss and a poor, beautiful, loving girl. That sums it all. They fall in love despite bickering with each other from the beginning, but their love blossoms into something profound. The whole drama is set in various hotels and you see cute and breathtaking sceneries. The story is quite simple but there are mishaps along the way for the leads too. Don't expect to see the logic behind anything that happens, as it is the nature of this drama to be funny and romantic. The leads are just made for each other.
overall, a feel-good drama with cute skinship and chemistry between the leads.

Came for the kiss scenes, stayed for the CP
Found this gem by pure chance. In the past few months, very high-end Xianxias were released that were overhyped too, but this one, many found it so suddenly! i'm glad i did. it's one of those rare Xianxias that kept me hooked from episode 1, and not a single episode was a filler imo( even though some episodes were a little rushed, and later I found out there were some things going on). not to mention the MOST beautiful kiss scenes and romantic scenes exist in this drama.Story:
Romantic Xianxia about demons, gods and fairies with a time travel flavor. That sums it up. The fantasy element is strong, yet the core of this drama is romance. as someone who loves romantic dramas, this satisfied me fully lol. The leads only have eyes for each other and there is no nonsense love triangle/3rd wheel. Even through amnesiac episodes, the couple stay faithful to each other. There are some loopholes and some things left unexplained. but there was no need to do so imo. There were no filler episodes in my opinion, and all episodes looked refreshingly interesting.
Acting:
I have been familiar with Arthur Chen since his Lighter and Princess days and been following him ever since. he is such a talent; they call him the Nepo baby, but this person indeed has the talent to shine.
Wang Ying Lu. I wasn't acquainted with her before, but she is a heartthrob and looks so cute. Hope to see her in more works.
OST:
similar to many Xianxias, there are a selection of pieces played out throughout the show and the matched the mood. i even liked the bgm music.
Production:
One of the biggest issues with xianxias are the CGI they use. this one's CGI wasn't without faults but it was ok imo. The scenery and houses they made for the drama all looked appealing.
All in all, watch it for the romance and the beautiful kiss scenes! the lovebirds in this drama can't take their hands off of each other!

A Short remake but still enjoyable!
I liked the og version and watched it when it aired. had to go back for a rewatch to refresh my memory and start this one.I don't think it's closely following everything from the og since it's short and also a Japanese remake, which they tend to change everything to fit their own aura of production.
The story is fast-paced, with not many details going on. The leads have a decent chemistry and are not cringeworthy IMO. The chemistry development is pretty decent up until episode 5.
I personally am not watching it, hoping to see the exact scenes and plot from the original suspicious partner, but that doesn't make this drama less entertaining.
Overall, an enjoyable watch, yet the last 3 episodes went downhill and their relationship could have developed to better.

A very beautifully depicted BL drama
I'm kinda new to the BL dramaland but i dare say this drama exceeded my expectations. The plot and writing are good. no loose ends or loopholes, no extra dramas, and most importantly no love triangles and cringe-worthy scenes.
The leads have an awesome chemistry and the NC scenes are decent lol
It has a very beautiful background music and the quality of production is desirable.
Overall, another wonderful BL for BL lovers :)

Below average
This drama it's the typical childhood Noona romance type of drama. But man, the script was badly written. The ML who was supposed to be the lead acted like a childish puppy and his role was basically nonexistent. He was just there to cook and hug and tell the FL "I love yous".The FL. she was good but the character development was bad. She was lost and I don't know how she ended up choosing the ML.
The second ML, who was actually the ML IMO, was the only character that had a decent development. He had his own plans, plots, relationships, etc and it kind of worked for him. The drama could have been solely his and not anyone else's.
Basically, a very absurd drama to pass your time. not recommended at all.

This Guy Is the Biggest Mistake in My Life

Not something that interesting
The story is kinda fresh and usual. It’s a sensitive topic so I’m not gonna cast my opinion on that, but being slaves is kinda prevalent in Jdramas. I have watched kimi wa petto before and this was suggested as a similar drama.Story:
Very bland and shallow. The lead’s relationship does not even progress and they just move around the whole time and it’s unrealistic and absurd mostly.
Acting:
The ML should be given a trophy for bad acting. You start to see him as a slave but the next day he’s just a hopeless romantic. He is literally something. The FL, on the other hand, is immature and just likes to hit the ML and that’s it😂 the drama is finished
Overall, a very silly drama. If you have spare time to pass, watch it.

a 2022 review :)
If you know the drill for Jdramas, you won't be surprised by the weirdness and sometimes wickedness shown in their dramas. At first, it gave me this feeling that I'm about to watch a Noona romance with a much younger guy, but this drama's focus is not solely on the age gap, but on various relationships all at once. There is the main couple, but so many secondary couples and stories!
The FL is really quirky and weird, and sometimes intolerable, but she actually develops throughout the drama.
I liked the ML, but he was a bit irresponsible, and the character development was lacking a bit.
The leads had great chemistry. wish they had more skinship and romantic scenes.
I actually liked the second leads and the friends' stories. they were all really realistic and true. Even the love triangle shown but logical and real.
I liked this drama's Genuity and realness. Like the things depicted happen in real life all the time.
overall, a decent watch. There were a few cringe-worthy moments and sometimes the leads acted out of the character yet it's a pleasant drama.

A decent drama about relationships
The story started off pretty well ( but try not to be so logical when watching this drama or else you won't like it much).I thought it was more romantic, with the previous adaptation i saw primarily focused on relationships and romance, but this one had a twisted turn.
The FL seems very lost at first, but as the story goes on, she realizes her true feelings and purpose in her life. She truly matures. One thing that bothered me about her was that she acted quite unreal and a bit fake at times, shouting and making unnecessary noises lol
The MLs aka the brothers: I think the eldest and the youngest all had good character development. We could understand their characters from the beginning, yet the middle brother's development was somehow shallow. He was cranky in the beginning and started caring for the FL, yet he acted out of character all the time. I couldn't feel the chemistry between him and the FL. it wasn't just there.
The story has minimum dragginess. The problems are addressed and somehow solved in the end. There are no loose ends.
Overall, an enjoyable Jdrama.

Total opposites attract each other, Drama style :)
This drama is one of the types you can just sit, have your coffee and enjoy a few minutes of your time. The story starts off pretty well. The bland FL is employed in a big company and shows her wonderfully warm personality to all the competitive cold employees, to the point that they all start liking her. In the process, she falls in love with the president, who happens to be cold and has a traumatic past.
We get to see many side characters who are funny and bring light to this drama. There is a minor love triangle, there are minimum adversaries, and the story runs mostly smoothly.
There is a villain involved, but it shows that with persistence you can be a hero and will the heart of the one you love.
The romance is a slow burn and an unrequited love at first, but as the story progresses, the leads start a relationship and help each other, however, it takes a while for them to be a couple :)
Overall, a very pleasant and warm Jdrama. Romance lovers won't be disappointed as well.

A very Misleading Title
Romance is a bonus book. At first glance, you might think this drama is very romantic and focused on romance between the leads. But you are very wrong lol. This drama is a slow-paced romantic one. Romance is not visible till episode 11-12, so embrace yourselves.
I think it's best to say that this drama is about an unrequited and unrealistic love, and someone who is too busy with their lives to even recuperate the love back.
I don't like LJS per se( sorry fans). He's cute and has got porcelain skin, but his acting was not real. He mostly acted like a fashion model with a cute smile and gestures, And not so in love. It was like a puppy love.
The FL. She actually did a great job.
The story is really good, Though it got draggy at some point.
I loved the OST. a good selection of songs and background music.
Overall, if you love romance, this drama won't satisfy your craving. The romance came only in the last 4 episodes. But a decent watch imo.

Mediocre and at times quite absurd. Overall, a steady ride.
This drama can be your typical, romantic, feel-good, with a bit of angst type of drama. The story starts with the C word and is set in a hospital environment, so this is not everyone's cup of tea.
As the story progresses, the drama is quite predictable, with the exception of its ending( where they could let the audience guess about the illness' prognosis. No everyone should die of illnesses in dramaland)
The leads are cute and have good chemistry, But YZ needs to learn how to act. Her acting is always the same! I felt like i was seeing Go Go Squid all over again with just a different male lead. Even the way she dresses is the same. And last but not least, she CAN'T kiss the MLs.
The ML on the other hand, delivers good character development and can cheer up the audience in just a few seconds.
The soundtrack was ok. The selection was limited.
There was a bitchy SFL who just wanted the ML at all costs, but she learned her lesson and that didn't drag much.
The side stories were quite ok. Not much angst or complications.
This drama could have been shorter and much sweeter if not for the dragging and cringe-worthy scenes.
Overall a really average drama. If you like hospital setting mixed with romance, this is for you.

Not the best, but no the worst either
I personally had high hopes for this drama. Before it aired, the trailers and promotions seemed promising and MISLEADING to some. However, the drama turned out to be lacking in script and writing and thus making it not that good.Plus, don't let the name fool you. This drama is not that ROMANTIC. There are barely kiss scenes and skinships.
Story:
Typical marriage contract but with a twist. The FL's job is to marry guys who need partners for various reasons. There are some good guys and some psychos involved. There are SML and SFL and so many side stories going on, which seemed so unnecessary at times. I can dare say more than half of the drama got draggy and cringe-worthy. Character development was not ok, especially the SML and FL's relationship was written poorly. The only people with decent character development were ML and FL's roommate. Personally, i believe that this drama could've turned much better with a good team of writers :\
Acting:
I have seen all PMY's dramas and honestly, her last dramas were a turndown. GPK's acting was superb! i have seen him in a few dramas before and he delivered the best character in this drama. The second ML, albeit a bit cranky and quirky, acted pretty ok. The second leads and the supporting cast delivered a somewhat acceptable performance, yet again the only thing that overshadowed their acting was the bad script.
Music:
Nothing extraordinary in my opinion. Very limited songs and they didn't match the scenes very much.
Production:
From the looks of this drama, we can figure it had a decent budget. The dresses PMY wears are all sponsored by high-end brands. The cars, buildings, houses, etc, were expensive. The drama looks glittery to the eye, but without depth.
Chemistry:
Even though the drama's name is love in contract, the love is barely visible. We get to see the leads so lovey-dovey, but that's just it. Their love is not that genuine, more like platonic to me. The ML is really caring and starts loving FL, but the FL is so lost that can't deliver a good romantic partner. The kiss scenes were all too short and shallow.
Overall, a somewhat OK drama. Not the type you will go back and rewatch your favorite episodes(or you might lol). it could have been better. The drama had the potential to be much more sweet and enjoyable, yet as it happens in Kworld, writers can't deliver a good piece lol

Star-crossed lovers with a bad writing :)))
This drama started quite ok. A fantasy-themed drama about reincarnated lovers who didn't recognize each other at first, but there was a catch. One of them was a cupid and they were ill-fated, as they had no red thread of fate connecting them. The leads had a cute relationship BUT this drama has very faulty writing. the authors need to practice before making a drama. the story was all over the place and the criminal had a way of dealing with everything quite easily. The character development was also pointless for some characters.
ALso, 16 episodes made this drama draggy and filler. i personally watched it for the lead's love and chemistry. They were so good together.
The OST used is very beautiful. also, the scenery and locations shown are very enchanting.
Overall, a very average romantic drama.

A combination of melodrama and angst, but with so much complications.
This is one of those dramas where the leads are very wounded since they were kids and they are heading towards finding healing, but that is painful anyway. The first 4 episodes showed a glimpse of their past and how the leads are as adults and how the FirstLove trope has been present with anticipated misunderstandings, BUT these flawed characters are very lost.
It has a melancholic vibe to it and the cinematography is on-point with this mood. The OST is also beautiful.
Yet by episode 11, i dare say the story is sad, frustrating, painful and agonizing. They are healing but with too much pain.
If you have sensitive nerves, refrain from this drama as it will tear you heart apart.
The finale tried to wrap up everything completely and it did, but, the story dragged for too long and the ending seemed like a temporary drug for the pain the leads went thorugh.
overall, an average drama. The romance is not that bad but could have been better.

Modernized Makjang
If you're familiar with the Kdrama troupe, Makjangs are simple, overboard types of dramas that last for months. More like Traditional Korean dramas. This one is the exact same thing but with a shorter number of episodes.Story:
Minimal romance-based drama with lots of family plots! and a taste of Fantasy. that's it :) More like cat and mouse fights. Attacks and counterattacks, with some loose ends. but in this one, the villains got what they deserved and the underprivileged ones found peace. The leads had good chemistry and their relationship development was nice. but their on-screen time together was very minimal. Not so much skinship or kiss scenes. that's the only downside IMHO.
Acting:
All the cast were new to me except for SH. He has improved a lot since his previous roles. The villains acted quite proficiently and i think they wrapped everything up correctly.
OST:
A bit nonexistent. no comment here.
production:
This is not a high budget drama. you don't see glorious work settings or houses. The drama's shots are limited to two houses and a company. The visuals are average. as expected in Makjangs.
Overall, a decent revenge drama with a little romance in it.
