That could be one of the reasons why they didn't add this story line but i didn't blame XZ for wanting to breakup with her. I understood the circumstances. Plus in usual stories like this the ML would suddenly start treating the FL cruelly upon such revelations and the FL wouldn't even know for episodes why he is behaving like that but here it was so different, he was so gentle with his words and actions that i couldn't blame him. Then he voluntarily received 108 lashes as punishment so that he could come see her again. Plus i loved seeing him regretting and getting tortured every time he heard rumours of FCY with some other guy🤭. I wish they had made it a 50 something episodes, then they could have included all these.
Anyway i still love this series though.

same, i don't like this change either. In the novel, avenging his father was his top priority. That rage he felt every time he remembered what was done to his father ( i didnt see none of that in the drama ). This is why he was so angry and dark in the novel. I can't believe they did a whole 180 degree turn on this. I wanted the moment where XZ breaks up yet he is sweet and gentle with FCY (wipes her tears as he breaks up and rewraps her bandages) when he tells her that he doesn't blame her and knows she is not the culprit but he can't be with her because that'd be insulting his parent's memory. Then he comes back because he regrets breaking up and she acts distant and the angst that follows, we are getting none of that. 😭

what are the other 4 dramas? I know it surpassed New Life Begins (also starring TXW)

it's not the same and you won't really get the best experience watching those. The subtitles are really off and it needs more editing. Just wait for the official website to upload them all.
